Great meal

Sitting out by the crashing surf, amazing. Switching guitar live players in the middle of dinner, not so good. Menu items good, not as good as remembered at last visit in March 2014. Macadamia nut crusted fresh catch good, but not as good as last year. More moist/soggy, not with the great... read more

The Canoe House is located in the Moana Lani Resort. It is right by the ocean with a fantastic view. It is a bit more than casual but I've seen people wearing shorts and t shirts there although most people dress up some. The food and service is excellent.

We selected CanoeHouse for my Father in Laws' Birthday Dinner. The weather was spotty (Rain/Wind) leading up to our reservation time outdoors, turned out we very very fortunate, wind subsided, rain stopped, and we even saw a nice sunset. Service was excellent to say the least, Our 7 year old is eager to try most anything new. The Chef sent... More

Great location. Very scenic. A great good-bye dinner to a fantastic trip. Nothing more to say, but forcing 100 characters. Annoying, TripAdvisor!

We stayed at the Waikoloa Beach Resort and drove over for a meal as my travel guide recommended the restaurant. And it was definately worth it. The setting right on the beach with the waves being illuminated was great. We enjoyed our food and the service was good. We considered the prices worth the nice evening we had.

This place tries hard to be a fancy restaurant. The dishes are elaborate, and the prices are high. But the taste is only mediocre, and the attempt to be trendy often doesn't work.

The Eggs were the best eggs i have ever had. It was almost like they had something secret in them. This restaruant has a beautiful view of the ocean as well.

Three of us had dinner here one night and enjoyed it very much! What a gorgeous setting, right next to the ocean watching the sunset! The service was really good, as was the food. I had the fish atop rice with a coconut curry and the squash soup- yum! We didn't have dessert, but the bill came with a tasty... More

We had dinner at the CanoeHouse with friends and had a wonderful evening. The food was awesome, I believe my husbands steak was the best ribeye that I have ever tried. The service was excellent and the setting was magical. They had a little live music playing which was very enjoyable and we could have not asked for a better... More
