Was hard to even get in the door because of the (short) queue of people ordering food. It is a really bad layout / design issue that needs to be fixed. We had the Crispy Pork Knuckle, and I have to say, it was great and very popular around the table. Did not spend long there so cannot give a... More

Our Soninlaw and daughter took us to this resturant today as get out of the house treat as we have been housebound of late. Arrived about 11.45 for lunch no smile of welcome from any of the staff. It was freezing cold inside the resturant and when we asked why the fire wasn't on we were informed they had run... More

We have been promising ourselves that we would head up to the Duckstein (Swan River) and see if it was a good as the one just down from us in Busselton. That was our treat for us this weekend just gone and I have to say that the staff were lovely and the Pig knuckle we had to share was... More

If you are looking for hearty food in a pleasant semi traditional German setting then you will go a long way to find better. The service was friendly and helpful. The décor is trying to be German Beer Keller and it works. But you really go here for the food. If its sausage and large pieces of meat that you... More

The Valleys iteration is a little more Humble than that down south but has a more homely feel to it. Good beers, good food and generally pretty good service. Won't dissapoint, especially if you like more "solid" meals.

This was one of 5 micro breweries that we visited in the Swan Valley. The beers were of a high quality and the staff very helpful.

I would agree with many of the previous reviews the food was very overpriced, this has become so common in Perth. When I can cook sausage and potatoes better than this I must be in the wrong game. The beers we drank were good, but the pils was that bad I couldn't finish it. Old and just poor. It must... More

Four of us had a reservation for lunch on a Sunday. Car park was half full, which was a pleasant change. We noticed some changes on our arrival, like the large enclosed "al fresco" eating area, where our table was situated. The front desk staff were efficient, if a little brusque (doesn't cost anything to smile, ladies) and we were... More

Went for lunch. Busy but not packed. Drinks served quickly. Wine we wanted was unavailable and waitress could not tell us what blend the "Silk" white was. Waited 40 minutes for food to arrive. Chicken schnitzel was burnt on one side. The chicken salad was ok, but was advertised with bacon, blue cheese and avocado. No bacon could be found,... More

We stopped here for lunch and first enjoyed the tasting plate of beer. The Hefeweizen was unavailable so we were given their house cider instead, which was quite nice. Overall I preferred the Dunkel. We came quite early for lunch so the service was quite fast but the staff seemed as though they were not really with it. They neglected... More
