It took about 45 minutes (17km) from our homestay at Prawirotaman. We use Googlemaps and it took us 4 km away from the right direction. For those who want to go there, dont use the "Jejamuran" keywords in Gmaps, and ignore the address (Niron, Pandowoharjo) as i think it is just useful for those people who live in Jogja. Practically,... More

Went here on our last night in Yogyakarta and what a find. For 4 people the total cost was about AUS 10. We had Sate Jamur Tiram, Tongseng Jamur, J Goreng Tepung Tiram, Dadar Shitake, Asam Manis Portabelo plus rice and drinks. No wonder this place is so popular and therefore busy, even so service was very quick. Definately would... More

I come here with my business friends for late lunch in a rainy day. What makes it special is you can find all kinds of foods made of mushrooms. I love mushrooms very much so I find it interesting here. We order few menus, such as Mushroom Satay, Sweet and Sour Mushroom, Fried Mushroom, Mushroom Tong Seng, Chilli Mushroom, and... More

The taste of the mushroom dishes was acceptable although not very great, all came is slightly smaller portion than regular restaurants around Yogyakarta. All the dish tasted quiet similar to the original recipes that usually made with beef or chicken. The mushroom 'chicken' satay was my favorite as it tasted close to real chicken satay. The ambiance was quiet okay... More

I'm not a vegan/vegetarian, so I came with a friend which is vegan, we both didn't like our food, for me it's just the mushroom didn't cook that great, and for her it wasn't vegetarian food because they put too much beef/chicken seasoning on it.

JeJamuran in Bahasa means mushroom and the Yogyakarta region around Mt. Merapi is also known for its variety of mushrooms, among other things. JeJamuran is one hotel where almost all the dishes are entirely made of mushrooms....and it has a wide variety of mushrooms ranging from exotic pink mushrooms to the more famous Portobello, Shitake etc. Otherwise its typical Indonesian... The main ingredients of all menu are mushroom, various types of it. We order tongseng, mushroom soup, coconut milk vegie soup (sayur lodeh), crispy fried mushroom, rendang mushroom, sweet sour mushroom, and all taste delicious. Price is cheap, worth of money. The service is fast. Please refer to pictures for more. I definitely will come back.

The idea is great, but not the rest. Was expecting this restaurant is a master in mushroom dish, but i've tried few different menu and nothing special with the taste. The place is big can accommodate hundreds of people. In holiday season its super busy with local tourists, and don't expect too much with the service. Not sure if i... More

I usually go to JeJamuran after the trip from Borobudur temple. One of friend recommended this place. Now, i'll just go there to have a meal even though the location is not in the city center. Worth the trip ;) Just like the name of the restaurant, "jamur" means mushroom. So all the (Indonesian) food is basically made of mushroom,... More
