great food down in the harbour

good food, reasonable prices, good wine, 5 minutes walk from Grand Hotel, 2 minutes to ferry, outside seating ( would be lovelier in summer, we were there on a rainy March night) had a really cosey night

Cordon bleu cuisine. Food with a difference. Suitable for regular visits, but ideal for special occasions. Attracts regulars and makes you feel like a valued patron.

we often choose to dine here when in Gozo, and as usual the food did not let us down. After having a satisfying meal we were presented with the bill. We noticed that the billed wine we so much enjoyed was more than what was listed in the wine list. Fine, maybe it was a genuine mistake....We politely pointed this... More

Tmun is a little more expensive than the other restaurants we tried in Mgarr, but you can see why. The restaurant was extremely popular, and the service paid great attention to detail. Most of all, there was the food. I had the best squid meal I've ever had here - simple but gorgeous and fresh.

My daughter and I visited Tmun as a treat for ourselves one evening and we were so glad we did. It is a bit more expensive than the other restaurants we'd eaten in but SO worth it -the food from start to finish was exquisite! My daughter had tuna, which was to die for, and I had the best steak... More

This restaurant has great reviews and we were looking forward to it but it wasn't really what we were looking for. It's quite formal and also we visited just after New Year when it was very cold at night and were given a table close to the door - there was a kind of tent-like extension with a zip-up door... After having some more or less taste-wise boring experiences on Gozo we finally found with Tmun a very good place (unfortunately and surprisingly not that easy on Gozo). We shared several different startes to get as many tasts as possible and every dish was very good. As often the kids dishes were not really creative but our little one enjoyed... More

We booked last minute and we were accepted with open arms. The restaurant is not easily found if you are not aware of it but the setting is very nice. We had to wait a bit too much to be served and the prices were slightly on the high side for Gozo even for an upmarket restaurant like this. Having... More
