Another restaurant in Mgarr that we had difficulty obtaining a table. When we did eat there though it was a lovely experience with a complimentary tasty lobster soup. I had a delicious chicken roulade that contained fruit & walnuts. This restaurant is just slightly away from the cluster round the harbour.

Went to Tmun again and it was superb , you must book really or risk disappointment . Great setting in the harbour area which has really come on . Several eateries and the famous or infamous Gleneagle bar . Starters of squid ink tortellini stuffed with prawns , main of boned rabbit filled with pink duck breast and veg ,... More

This restaurant is well located close to the ferry terminal in Mgarr. It has a good reputation for its cuisine. In our experience (have dined here three times) it is over-priced for the overall experience one gets. Fish and vegetarian dishes are fine but one can get just as good food elsewhere on the island for less cost. The restaurant... More

We went here for a special celebration dinner and it was everything we hoped for! The view was delightful, the setting and the atmosphere was perfect, like we arranged it. I read reviews saying the service was slow, not so. The restaurant was busy and so the service was a LITTLE slow but nothing to complain about, it was just... More

Ate here last night after our first choice was full. It was on our list to try anyway. Polite service, not overly friendly, to begin with, but they became more friendly as the night went on. Delicious starters of fig tarte tatin and a beef and mushroom ravioli. We then had a very long wait for our main courses, but... More

The walking proximity to the Gozo ferry, the outside seating area, the divine food, the affable owner all add up to a heavenly eating experience. Booking is recommended as the place is well sought for. Well done.

The owner of the guesthouse at which we were staying booked the table on our behalf (so we thought we were on safe ground). However, the greeting was unwelcoming to say the least with moans about how we'd arrived too early and they were far too busy etc etc. unfortunately, the grumpy maître d' wasn't exaggerating. We nearly died of... More

Tmun was highly recommended by several friends, so we had high hopes for a good meal. Our expectations were met and exceeded. We sampled both fish and vegetarian items on the menu and enjoyed the careful preparation and subtle flavorings of all. Price is on the high side, but it was worth it for an excellent dining experience. We're already... More

Service, food, atmosphere all excellent. Attentive and friendly staff. The little touches finish it off - a taster of the local fish dish and a complimentary liqueur. A little costly for 4 of us but well worth it.
