Wow the value, quantity and service is the best. It's our second night in and we want to go back. I have already tasted the best pasta I have ever eaten. A bottle of red wine. 2 mains. 2 deserts and coffee all for 26€ for two people. We are going back.

after a trip to Ghadira bay, we decided to pop into Mellieha for our dinner. after looking at the menu we decided that we would be eating in L'amigo. We were asked if we would like to sit up stairs or down stairs, as upstairs was cooler. We sat downstairs and watched the football. Service was very quick, and the... More

Tried out this restaurant during our stay in mellieha after having tried Il mithna and coming away dissatisfied. On first impressions, charming restaurant with lovely staff. We were promptly seated given complimentary nibbles, and all of the following service was prompt. The wine was very reasonably priced and tasted great! Food was great too with loads of choice. Portions were... More

My partner and I went to this restaurant on our last evening in Mellieha, we were seated straight away by welcoming and friendly staff. The food was amazing, and the wine we were recommended was just what we wanted. We defiantly saved the best restaurant in Mellieha until last I would definitely recommend a visit.

Our favourite restaurant in Mellieha - we had to have dinner here twice in a week. Very tasty dishes. Lovely service albeit slowish - go for the maltese specials (the rabbit liver entree is just awesome!). On our first visit we each had a different animal for mains: horse stew, stuffed quail, fried rabbit, beef olives - all were really... More

Had very little choice but to go here as the rest of Mellieha was in darkness, only other places open were the big hotels. So they obviously have there own generator. Service was slow but from other reviews that's normal. But when the food came it was very good. The service even though it was slow which may be normal... More

Very slow service; when asked where our main was, within seconds it miraculously arrived. The food arrived cold and overcooked. No apology given nor gestures to indicate they cared

Oh my goodness, the food here is to die for! The service is awesome. The décor is lovely. The view is nice. It's perfect. It's such a chilled out restaurant that provides amazing service, with very welcoming staff and delicious food for such a cheap price. I went for a meal with my mum and dad, and overall we had... The food was fantastic, starter, main and desert. All four of us really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and courteous.

We went there for a casual dinner. It was an enjoyable experience with good food, efficient service and a friendly atmosphere. Nothing overwhelming, but nothing negative either.
