Excellent value for the money. Cheap wine lots of food we will come back anytime. Place is in the middle of downtown, you can sit outside good atmosphere.
Great atmosphere, with Nobert and his team (not Newcastle) working flat out to please. Excellent value for money, with the pasta dishes especially recommended. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The place always seems busy but this doesn't detractfrom the enjoyment and service, and the fact that we have returned for several years says it all. Reasonable prices and recommended.
After reading the last review regarding the king prawns situation I feel almost compelled to stick up for this restaurant ! King prawns served with digestion track not removed. When this was brought to the owners attention they said that removal off this must be requested when ordering dish! Nothing stated on the menu. Sent dish back. Refused to pay for dish when bill was presented. Owner became aggressive and un professional. Beware!
were not impressed at all I had an omelette that was like rubber ,and my partner had fish which was from a frozen packet maybe findus or birdseye whatever it wasn't very nice didn't go back again was hoping for a freshly cooked meal
If you miss the full English it's the place for you they also do veggie breakfast to, it's very reasonable and the family that run it are great to from grandad to grandchildren and all in between, they are teaching there children great work ethics. And the food is good to very friendly.
This restaurant is situated next to the hilltop. Having eaten in both the service here was poorer, with a surly and slow waitress and it felt cheaper. My view was coloured as our bill included items we did not purchase. We had the beef olives which were tasty and recommended.
We went to eat here on our first night in Mellieha as it looked really busy when we went pass. The reason for that is they were way behind on their orders and people were waiting so long for their food! The girl who took our order was fantastic she couldn't apologies enough for the delay and she was trying... More
