Brilliant food, wished we had gone sooner.

The Kejarta was a wonderful experience, we went there after a recommendation by a friend on our last night in Los Cristianos. The food was superb, be prepared to wait as it is cooked fresh, no microwave heating! We had a bottle of the Tenerife wine also, it was the best wine we had on the island... read more

We really enjoyed our meal here. We were warmly welcomed and,as we were first to arrive, had our choice of tables. However it was not long before the restaurant filled up. We shared the speciality of fried vegetable strips which were very tasty and non greasy. The mixed paella was delicious ,the only downside being they were not able to provide... More

This small restaurant offers mainly Basque food. It is run by a friendly lady chef and we can't praise her enough. The food really was superb, especially her deep fried vegetables and pork dishes. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

we asked our hotel in Costa Adeje for a good paella restaurant. Their initial choice was closed for holidays (June being out of season for Tenerife), so we were given the Kejarta in Los Cristianos. We had a car and managed to find it (it is away from the beach area on a frontage to a apartment or hotel block).... More

Belen at Kejarta's continues to exceed expectations and delivers the most fascinating and tasty food. We had booked for 8pm on a Wednesday evening and when we arrived it was busier than normal. Belen had told us last time that as there is only the chef and herself running the restaurant, she can manage about 5 to 6 tables at... More

Visited for the first time last week and was so good we returned two nights later. During our first visit we both tried one of the 'stews' on offer. Both were excellent. On our second visit we tried the paella and it was probably the best paella we have ever had. It is certainly not a fast food place as... More

Four of us visited this restaurant while staying nearby. Although the service was slow, the food was certainly worth waiting for. Cooked to perfection the owners could not do enough for you. All of the meals have some interesting combinations and the flavours that come through are mouthwatering and very special. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Really nice to see that Belen remembered us from last year and provided a really warm welcome. Once seated Belen came and talked us through the menu and the new recommendations on the menu. Also provided recommendations on a nice red and white white, we went with the white. For starters we ordered 2 new dishes Belen was offering, a... More

Once again I have visited quite the best restaurant in Los Cristianos. The owner/chef is a charming and welcoming host who will do whatever she can to cook for you personally is you would like to adapt any of her dishes. She has an adventurous and well thought out menu compared to the majority of restaurants in this area. Yes,... More

Wow !! So many flavours all cooked with a simplicity belying the melt in the mouth taste. The bread and ham starts you off slowly, then you are hit with potatoes in a stunning roquefort cheese sauce. Next came sizzling chorizo followed by beautifully cooked squid. Finally, a warm steak salad dressed expertly in a gorgeous balsamic and olive oil... More
