Lovely place.

This is a lovely restaurant off the main tourist trail. It is very welcoming & spacious. The bread basket is varied & comes with butter/alioli/cream cheese & jam, which is quite nice. This restaurant only works with the finest ingredients. I had the grilled porc and beef dish (gusto or something) and it really was maybe the best porc I ever had. Good wine, good service. perfect!

A unique twist awaits your palate here, service was impeccable and food so different from other restaurants in that you expect traditional but get so much more. Prices are middle to top of the scale but you really do get what you pay for. The best fillet steak ever tasted, it cut like butter. Succulent salmon. Fabulous courgette and black... More

Might you have been eating too much fish, only vegatable plates, finally bored of always digesting vegetarian stuff or (worse) only recently discovered that a Bigmac doesn't really contain palatable meat, and now you truly want a piece of quality meat: this is the place to be!! Don't let me be misunderstood: El Lajar also serves very sophisticated starters and... More

The menu of this restaurant has al the ussual dishes you can order in most local restaurants, but what they serve is a refined culinary version of the traditional canarian cuisine. They use top quality ingredients and know exactly how to prepare them. The staff is very friendly and helpfull in explaining the menu and wine. We've eaten there several... More
