The restaurant is set above the main strip of restaurants and bars in Meloneras; providing a great setting with lovely views overlooking the sea. Las Rias offers a welcome alternative to some of the other restaurants in the area - in terms of food, atmosphere and staff. Service was extremely attentive and professional (albeit a little formal) and could not... More

This is a nice restaurant with good quality seafood. It is located within the Gran Hotel Costa Meloneras, but with an entrance from the boulevard. Service is very good. Quality of food also very good, but not great. Actually, we have had better seafood at nearby El Senador, located east of the Faro, in the older area (there, service can... More

On the front near the lighthouse, lovely views from the window tables. Very good service and an extensive menu. If you like fish then try the mixed grilled fish for 2 people. While they have an extensive fish and seafood menu they also cater for meat lovers - I had the lamb chops (chulletitas) and they were very good indeed.... More

Outstanding food, friendly and efficient service, beautiful decor. The gilthead bream baked in salt was succulent and delicious. Prices are higher than usual for GC but much lower than you'd pay for a similar meal in the UK.

Spectacular views, delicious food, professional and friendly service. Paid special attention to us as we were celebrating one year wedding anniversary, including champagne on the house. Would highly recommend for any occasion.

Consistently the best food in the Maspalomas/Meloneras area. The area is not rich with quality restaurants but Las Rias stands out for its reliable food. The efficient service puts many other places to shame. If you like seafood then it is a must-visit.

Las Rias used to be our choice for lunch when we were in the Maspalomas area while the good old Rias Bajas was always for dinner. It was always pretty good when they were in the shopping mall but it has jumped several levels since it moved to the new location adjacent to the Costa Meloneras hotel. Now it has... More

Art of the large hotel complex forming part of the front near the lighthouse this is an excellent fish restaurant. Prawns (Norwegian lobster) are first rate and staff and food generally of a very high standard. Watty

This is a really excellent fish restaurant with super sea views and a friendly while reasonably sophisticated atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The food and wine provide very good value for money. We have visited twice this October and it provides an excellent alternative to its neighbour, the Argentinian stealhouse, El Churrasco.
