Lovely restaurant overlooking lopesan pool and the coastline. Food first class. Some waiters have poor English and it is a little pricier but worth it....steaks arguably better than those in the twin restaurant el churrasco at the other side of the pool. Fish fresh and cooked to perfection. Quite empty earlier on in the evenings so not much atmosphere. Jeanleon... More

We ate at this restaurant twice during our recent visit as it was so good. The waiters were helpful, friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. If you like fish you have to visit this restaurant. We had the seafood paella on both occasions, although they would have happily done a meat or a mixture of seafood and meat,... More

Las Rias provides a good contrast to lots of down-to-earth eateries in Maspalomas: service is attentive and prompt, white linens, extensive fish/ seafood menu, a decent wine list. Value for money is not at its best though, as 110 Euro (for 2) seafood grill we had featured just 1 medium-sized lobster, a couple of langoustines and tiger prawns, a few... More

As we were staying at the Lopesan Costa Meloneras hotel, we popped into Las Rias for dinner during our stay. Having had lunch there twice, we knew that the quality of food was excellent but weren't quite prepared for how great the dinner menu was. The scallops were very plump, and the lobster was cooked fresh after being taken from... More

We had a salt-crust sea bass, which was very nice, but I'd swear they were frozen veg that were served with it. Totally unacceptable. Otherwise service was good and some good wines for fish.

We know Spanish food well and we are aways prepared for a nice surprise when we try a new restaurant out. This one didn't fail us either in our quest to find good restaurants on the island. Last night we tried the crab -1.3kg of it, which was fresh and full of flavour, we had black paella which was so... More

With its location in a swanky looking hotel, we were expecting stratospheric prices, but were pleasantly surprised. This made the fresh fish-based main course (it was lunchtime so we had a rice) taste even better. Friendly service, nice Galician wine selection. Stunning sea views.

Had a lovely meal here and would definitely recommend to others. Initially we were a little sceptical about the prices, but afterwards we thought it was worth every cent! The oysters were nice, but the sea bass was incredible... Have had fish at a couple of other restaurants close by but this was far better than anything else we had...
