Amazing

This restaurant was highly recommended by the receptiondesk in our hotel. If we wanted to eat some good Canarian food, this was the place to be. So we decided to have a late lunch (or early supper ;-))We stayed near CC Yumbo in playa ingles (5 min walk) and decided to walk to the restaurant. It took us about 45... More

Simple and straightforward, but all done with care. The tapas were delicious, service was great, bill was very reasonable. We were almost the first to arrive, around 7:30pm (midweek) - which was perfect as the waiter had plenty of time. After 15 mins, it started filling with locals, and was full by 8pm. I will definitely return on my next... More

With my intro comment, I don't just mean the meal ... I also mean finding the restaurant in the first place. Just a quick tip: the tripadvisor map is quite precise; but once you finally find your way to Calle Placido Domingo (up to the very top of Av. de Tirajana, then the first right "downhill"), keep an eye out... We ate here two times during our holiday in Gran Canaria. Our host advised us to make a reservation and that was a good advice! The place is crowded, especially when you want to have diner after 20.00 hours. The food is very tasteful and the staff very friendly. There is no menu, you just eat what is being served,... More

Had heard a lot about this place and had high expectations duly. The food was okay but not as good I as had heard beforehand. I did know before that there's no menu, you just choose from the counter. Although we came early in the evening, some dishes had already sold out. Service was polite and prices were reasonable.

I got a reccomended this place, but it was quite a rip off. The menu does not exists, meaning you have to basically have whatever the waiter needs to push ( and they are quite pushy). No menu means no idea of the prices either of course. The service was bad and rude, and we got the feeling we had... More

This place made a really welcome change from the tourist filled heaving restaurants in Playa del Ingles. It serves authentic tapas and small dishes. The service is excellent- the waiter was attentive and patient, and the atmosphere is intimate and friendly. A rare find in the area.
