we have been at least 15 times to this little treasure in San fernando. Food is always fresh and tastes great and the service is very pleasant, even though they are busy at all times of the day, they make sure you feel comfortable and enjoy a great time.

We visited this little tapas bar at the end if December and we were very happy with the food and the service. It would have been easier having a paper menu but we chose the dishes from the counter and from other tables as they appealed to us and they were all very good. The price is also extremely fare... The tapas are not bad but I do not understand why people are standing in line to get a table in this restaurant. You can easily find good tapas in the same area where you don't have to wait half an hour for a table. Once you get in it is really packed and you have to be lucky the... More

Although the food is plentiful in size, if you are vegetarian this is not the restaurant for you! My partner had very little choice and was offered a plate of boiled potatoes with Mojo sauce and a plate of vegetables. We were amazed when the bill came to find the plate of beans and carrots cost 9.70 Euros and was... More

After visiting last year with my partner. We just had to come back again. There were 5 in our party this time and it was as good as ever. Same format no menu, just pick what you want or keep them coming till you've had enough. Makes a great change and contrast to the bigger restaurants in Maspalomas. Simple local... More

You get what you see in this restaurant: no menu available, choices can be made at the bar where the dishes are presented. Call them tapas, but some are real main dishes. The sandwiches are delicious, don't miss them; if they offer the one's with crab, tunin, tomato, mayonaise and egg, you have the catch of the week! I also... More

Here is an unassuming neighbourhood tapas bar outside the main tourist hub. Large portions recommended by the waiter are authentically local, and very tasty. Wine is also good value. Although our first visit was in the evening, we went back for 'brunch' twice, as the Spanish omelettes with bacon were excellent, and the coffee very good. It's rare to experience... More

We had an excellent meal here - the staff were really helpful. They don't have a menu as such but the waiters explain the collections of dishes. Don't be fooled - these are not traditional 'small' tapas portions but almost full meals so don't go overboard when ordering! We were sat outside and when it started to rain the staff... More

This is our second holiday to Gran Canaria. We stumbled across this restaurant, I have to say that it does not look pleasing from the outside. However, the food is absolutely incredible, there is no menu so everything is cooked fresh. We both shared the goats cheese salad which was delicious and I had the fillet steak with bernaise sauce.... More

No trip to Gran Canaria would ever be complete without visiting La Tapita and we once again had the sheer pleasure of eating there this month. As many have pointed out - it's not a gourmet restaurant - its a small, back street Tapas cafe and as such they have no table reservations or menus - you simply turn up... More
