A real Little Gem! Check this place out!

We asked the waiting on staff in our Resort where to go to get the best authentic Gran Canarian / Spanish food nearby to our Hotel. A 5 Euro taxi ride took us to an area of Maspalomas called San Fernando. We had a fabulous meal with all the other Spanish people who were there. It was a bit... read more

We asked a cab driver for good tapas, and he took us here. We never bothered with a menu, and just ordered "tapas with a recommended wine". Do what we did. And get there by 6 to avoid waiting.

We had read about this restaurant beforehand and wanted to try it. Unfortunately we arrived there while the kitchen was closed for couple of hours but they still had a good set of tapas that we got to choose from. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and very friendly. Also the house red wine was really good.... More

Fantastic local tapas restaurant. Be prepared to queue it's so popular. The service is fantastic - friendly and fast! Tapas and salads are excellent. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We arrived early with 1.5 year-old and quickly found a table. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. After we finished our breakfast, we took more breakfast to go for the following morning and a couple delicious sandwiches. It was well worth the drive. If my daughter wakes up early again, we may have to go for a quick drive.... More

Cool but traditional Canarian restaurant/tapas bar well worth the walk or taxi away from the mainstream. Food is the best you will have in Gran Canaria and incredibly well priced. Staff are lovely too and accommodate the occasional well informed tourist as they do with their regular local crowd. Recommend the croquettes, octopus salad, ham avo and cheese salad. Wine... More

This authentic tapas restaurant( very busy on a Wednesday night ...good sign!!) is one of many along the same road in San Fernando but it's worth finding for value quality and service . I like the 3 sizes of helpings ( starting at 3 euros a portion) because we enjoyed sampling 5/6 of the small size tapas with a bottle... More

This small tapas restaurant was recommended by some guests of same hotel where we were staying...It took us some time to find it - although it was 5 minute drive. We went there for lunch an we were seated as soon we arrived. I could do a max of 5 courses...Started with egg with tuna tortilla. Though that was the... More

Being Chinese, I was a little apprehensive after reading the below review regarding service. However as soon as we entered the cafe we were greeted by friendly faces who showed us to a table. Staff were very attentive and really took the time and effort to explain each dish behind the counter and items on the menu. We choose a... More
