We ate here 3 times during our 2 week stay because the food was good and the atmosphere was very comfortable. We enjoyed the staff and locale as well as the food. It felt authentic with the right combination of comfort and formality. The food was very good and consistent. We took friends here as well and they enjoyed it.

Arrived without a booking and were lucky to get a table. Nice place, friendly service, a bit on the slow side reg serving the mains. Delicious authentic tapas, although a bit on the salty side which is unnecessary given the great quality (half point reduction for that). Otherwise certainly one of the best eateries on GC. Excellent wines as well.... More

Great Canarian food and very pleasent service. We read a lot about this restaurant and it truly deserves all the appraisal it has received.

Is difficult to find as bing maps have it in a different place, carry on for another 400 meters and it is down an alley ! We had a meal for two, the atmosphere was very good and service friendly but slow, we were disappointed given the reviews, the stone bass was OK, pork loin tasty. Potatoes con mojo tasty.... More

We ordered Squid [baby] , coriander mojo, tomato salsa and traditional black pudding and papaya marmalade. Both top quality and very generous. The wines were great too, we drank white[Gardenos] and red[Azpilicueta] Riojas. We then had main courses of lamb rack with lovely veg and hake, prawns and coriander. There was no space for sweets! Definitely a big hit for... More

We opted to avoid our hotel gala dinner in favour of somewhere more authentic for Christmas night. We weren't disappointed. From beginning to end our host and his staff were attentive. The food was a delight, the wine recommended was spot on and the whole experience a pleasure. If you can cope with the dated decor you will have a... More

Clearly they love great food here, as they have a table with lots of nice products. The food was really good, particularly the starters and the owner a fine host. So good we tried to go twice but they were booked out.

I was greatful to the Lonely Planet guide for recommending this place. Food was excellent and the service impecable. The decor is slightly outdated, ok, but who cares after all. I was treated as an important guest or a friend, given good advice on wine and served excellent food. What more could I ask?

I visited this restaurant as part of a special occasion, the food and service was excellent and much better than anything else we had on Gran Canaria. The wine and food were of the highest quality. Cannot recommend it strongly enough....
