just returned from new year in gran canaria. had 2 wonderful meals in el salsete restaurante in san fernando. the staff are very attentive and make you feel so special. as for the food... you probably couldn't find better on the island. not the cheapest but you have to pay for quality. a great experience!

Yes, the place is not handy as it is a bit far from the center but going by taxi it costs max 4 euro from the Yumbo and definitely it is well worth it! The food is excellent, the price adequate and most importantly the service is truly impeccable: professional, warm, discreet and multilingual. Can't wait to go back!

It was my friend's birthday and I have to say it was a incredible night. I have never visited a better restaurant in the south of Gran Canaria. Very good food, the best waiters and the atmosphere invite you to have a the best night with your family or friends. I think it's a very romantic place ;)
