This is a real typical canaria restaurant away from the crowd, normally the taxidrivers know where it is. Good tapas and excellent fresh fish, winelist very good and prices ok. Worthwile to be tried.

Very friendly staff, excellent food, reasonable price - what more can you expect? The meat was made to the perfection, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had and I've had many around the globe. Definitely a place that I can warmly recommend!

Found this lovely little Canarian restaurant which we would highly recommend. The menu isn't vast but the quality of the food is fantastic and we'll presented. The fish dishes are suberb, so much so that we have booked to return for my husbands birthday meal. The service is also second to none.

A friend suggested going to El Salsete to celebrate my birthday. It proved to be a wonderful lunch. They organised a starter platter to suit the tastes of both my wife and I. She had smoked salmon and I calamares as the main course; both were beautifully prepared and presented and in generous portions. Two coffees to complete the meal... More

The place is a bit hidden in a side street. The service was very friendly and the food is ok. I think it is a bit to expencive. It looks for me like a tourist restaurant.

As we eat much earlier then the locals we had the place to ourselves and it was a Monday evening!! The owner, Pedro Vega was charming and looked after us very well. He chose 4 Canarian specialities for our starter which were all very tasty especially the black pudding. For our main we had a whole fish called 'Abae'. It... More

Very good price/value..quantity is big without losing in quality...not a touristic place, with a menu quite focused on local and traditional choices...very good and kind service (got a free cake, when they were casually aware of my birthday..)
