It was a great experience- a lot of very good quality reasonably priced food-very fresh and tasty! Would definitely recommend when in Maspalomas! The service was very friendly- you can try different wines. The restaurant is off the beaten path and there were quite a few locals -this is exactly what we wanted in a very touristy Maspalomas.

My family and I dined in to this secluded area of maspalomas, quiet area to where we prepare. The service is great and meal is so deliciouso! My son loves their home made fries, hotdogs and eggs! My husband loves his order, pork meat with shrimp stuff oven!! Superb! And my order, oven chicken with brown sauce... Yummy! Definitely will... More

We have been for dinner to El Salsete for the 1st time tonight, honestly it is very good, quality is excellent and prices are reasonable, It is away from the touristic area, inside Dan Fernando, Food and wine was very good, we enjoyed.

We were about to order a taxi to another restaurant when the hotel manager grimaced. We asked him for a recommendation and he said he lived in the San Fernando suburb and his local restaurant was much much better. Excellent advice! We had a warm welcome in a spacious restaurant with some great food. Chris had black pudding with papaya... More

Had a meal here with my wife and although I chose incorrectly I still appreciate how good a restaurant this is and the owner takes pride in his food. I ordered fish of the day but should have asked if it had bones as it had which puts me off a bit but it was very nice all the same.... More

Authentic well cooked food in an unassuming setting. Our taxi driver struggled to find it so make sure you have the full address. Nothing was too much trouble and our starters were exceptional. We ordered different house wines which we accept usually means fairly basic wine not at salsete they opened their best wines left the bottles at the table... More

We ate here 3 times during our 2 week stay because the food was good and the atmosphere was very comfortable. We enjoyed the staff and locale as well as the food. It felt authentic with the right combination of comfort and formality. The food was very good and consistent. We took friends here as well and they enjoyed it.
