The restaurant looks good on the beach walk, we were greeted by the waiters and eat what i considered the best paella of my life. With a relaxed environment and friendly staff would return.

Been coming to this restaurant for over 14 years and still one of the best restaurants in Gran Canaria. Food is of high quality and staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Staff are very child friendly and I would recommend highly the strawberry, chocolate and cream crepes!

Went there three times during at en days stay i Maspalomas. The first and the second were great, but the last one was fantastic. The starters were very good, especially the Manchego they serve there (got later aware that its made by one of the waiters mother). Combined with some Reserva (something) from 1999 it was one of the best... More

by far and away the best of the restaurants at the beach that we tried - we had intended to go to Time but it was absolutely deserted so we tried La Bodega and were warmly greeted by the staff. Nice little extras like free tomato salad and free after-dinner tipples and an owner who didn't seem to want you... More

The only restaurant we fancied near the beach at Maspalomas and thank goodness for La Bodega! Like other restaurants we passed, they do lots of different things, but HAVE THE PAELLA! Brought in a large pan as you'd expect and divided up, so delicious and full of flavour. The staff were very attentive and chatty, even shook our hands on... More

La Bodega is a really good restaurant near the beach in Maspalomas. Like most restaurants in Gran Canaria they do a bit of everything, steak, fish, pizza. But what sets it apart is all the little (free) extra courses they bring you between courses, we got squid salad one day and tuna salad another, both really tasty. They also bring... More

Sometimes a place just feels right. This one of them. We had stopped for a drink after the beach on one occasion but on passing in the evening didn't feel pressured, like you do with some, to go in for an evening meal. First rate choice. Lovely food, service and a friendly welcome. Great to see Antonio working on the... More

We used to stop here for a couple of drinks after a day sunning ourselves on the beach before heading back to hotel! Always friendly and the owner brought us lovely tomato and onion salad with a garlic sauce to die for (all free) another day he bought tiny potatoes again with a dip - because of the service they... We have been coming here whenever we visit Gran Canaria. It does not matter how long between visits, the staff remember us with a warm welcome. Had several great meals, especially the Chateaubriand and many a happy afternoon with a jug of Sangria. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for making the holiday.

We had two meals here in one week, both with chateubriand - worth coming back for ! Remeber to order garlic bread. Fantastic service: Free drink at entrance, free tomato salad and aioli, free mini-pancaces after the meal and even a free glass of liquour before we left. And the food was great too. Take care to bring some tip,... More
