Nice spot on the water five minutes walk from Alviks tube station. We had a fast dinner, only a main dish, the cod which was nice. Unfortunately the waiters were not coordinated, a bit slow and did not have control over the customers. Overall nice food and place but the service could have been better.

The location, just next to the water with possibilities to park your boat just 2 meter from your table is just awesome. The restaurant has high standard but service can be a bit slow. Food was good, but not top notch. If you are in the area its probably the best restaurant in the area, but its not worth to... More

Very nice location directly beneath Mälaren. Food is good, however, portions could be a little bit bigger...

We recently had a business dinner here and on the whole we were underwhelmed. The restaurant was recommended by one of our Swedish colleagues and I was expecting something much better than the tourist Swedish found in the Gamlastan. Unfortunately, while the food was indeed better than the tourist places, it was not by much. Moreover, I found it extremely... More

Was looking for a nice meal in Alvik, and there's not alot to choose from, in this end of "town". So we decided to try Sjopaviljongen, as it was very close to our hotel, and seemed to serve decent food, from reading other reviews. We ordered steaks (ryggbiff & entrecotes) and were certainly pleasantly surprised by the size and quality... More

Perfect site by the lakeside, very good food, definitely worth a visit! Large terrace facing the sea for summer dining. The fish and salads are delicious (we have not yet tried the meat dishes) and a fair wine list offering various price levels. Food pricing above average but ok considering site and quality.

In terms of value for money (in Sweden), this was excellent. A great looking pavilion on the water with very decent food at a price that was really quite reasonable given the location. Despite the somewhat grander setting also surprisingly kid friendly.

A beautiful, beautiful place in the sun! A very nice out-door restaurant and very good (but fat) food! This was the fifth time we ate there. I'm told it's even better in the winter. And it's not extensive at all. Dogs are allowed. Nice staff!

This is one if the restaurant by the lake in Stockholm. If you come in summer time, this is a place that make you wanna to live here forever. The restaurant has a deck over the lake with nothing block you from a great view but the big lake, the food portion is a but small. It is not a... More

Spent a very pleasant Easter Sunday here in this lovely cozy wooden house looking out onto the frozen waters. We hadn't booked but were quickly accommodated. Stockholm is expensive but the place offers good value for money in quality Swedish and international cuisine .. Well presented seafood , hearty meatballs, black pudding and Steak Tartare... All worth the wait!...yes service... More
