With the glittering water of Lake Mälaren just outside the window of Sjöpaviljongen, you get the feeling of being out on the archipelago even though you are just 15 minutes from town. Moor your boat on the jetty and, depending on the time of year, take it easy on the outdoor terrace with a glass of ice cold wine or relax beside our roaring log fire and enjoy a warming meal. Whatever the season, you can't help but be inspired by the beauty of nature which surrounds the restaurant and which is reflected in the menu; a menu that follows the changing seasons with ingredients sourced in Sweden wherever possible.

A piece of the archipelago in the middle of town!

Very nice and good 'Archipelago restaurant' middle of town! Main focus on business lunches (rather expensive), but generous menu and tasty dishes - always fresh and with good service! Their fish stew is insanely good! Lovely location also down at Tranebergs Beach and water for Essingeöarna! Hard to... read more

wonderful food, lovely view, nice staff. I had the fish with prawns and roe, and it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time - if not ever. The bread and salad were also nice. Then the waterfront location and window views are perfect for a relaxed, quiet place to talk. Overall a great dining experience.

Sjöpaviljongen has been a favorite for me and my father over the years. The service is good despite it usually being very crowded, and the view over the waters of Stockholm beautiful. My father loved their Baltic sea herring with mashed potatoes and lingonberries; my favorite is their fish stew. Weekend brunch in the summer is great - and seating... More

A very nice restaurant situated directly at the water with an amazing Stockholm water wiew. An outside dinner a warm summer´s evening is never wrong, but inside is also a very cosy place to eat. The food is very tasty, especially the maritime part. Staff is very attentive and friendly. I strongly recommend a visit.

this is my second visit to thai restaurant, came here last May. it is a nice place next to the water and you can choose to sit inside or outside to enjoy the fresh air. a word of caution, if the weather is getting chili , sit inside ! their heat lamp is not that powerful although management gives you... This is the second time we had dinner at Sjöpaviljongen. It's an amazing place nearby the water; the ducks are swimming by, the reindears are running in the woods and the seagulls are sitting close to yor table. The food is good, very good. The fish is cooked á point, but do not count the calories - it's butter, butter... More

Sjöpaviljongen is a lakeside restaurant near Alvik T-bana station. We sat outside in the warm evening and gazed at lovely views across Malaren Lake to the city. The bridge carrying the E4 motorway and another carrying a tram line were far enough away to add interest to the view but not so near as to be distracting. The menu was... More

I like this place lot because of the location on the water. Looks like an old pavilion on a bridge with a nice view over the water towards the center of Stockholm. Easy to reach with the tube to Alvik (15 min from the city center) and then a 2-minute walk down to the water. The resto is easygoing, slightly... More

We had a set lunch, Plaice and Remoulade sauce. Salad on the side and a carafe of water. Fantastic view outside and worth a visit.
