Location is wonderful but the food did not live up to expectations. Spider crab with rice (for 2 people) had very little crab -certainly not a whole one and was quite pricey. Sangria was lovely but we did leave here feeling a little "let down".

Always our first stop in Tossa for the food we love with great service and atmosphere. There are probably 8 or 10 other places in Tossa we love but this is tops.

We walked by and thought it looked inviting and made a reservation for 10pm that night. We were prompt and the charming hostess showed us to our table on the terrace. Steeped in atmosphere. We both had salad and the fish special, Our hostess who was the owner suggested a delicious red wine to go with our meal. Then Crema... More

We always eat here at least once when we're in Tossa de Mar. Last time was in July 2012. The food is always good and so is the service. We have had fish, clams, meat and of course Crema Catalan for dessert. It is hard to beat the atmosphere, the wooden furniture in the narrow alley. It is so good!

Like the position of this restaurant and the food however I feel the service lets it down. This was our second visit to Tossa this year and we went back to the restaurant and again felt the reception by the staff when choosing the set menu was fairly rude and would stop me recommending this to anyone

The restaurant is away from the beach area. Inside is a very charming room. Outside a nice terrace in the bottom of the castle. The food is really unpleasant. Fish taste blend, gaspacho worst than a supermarket bottle. The lunch menu is expensive for the quality and quantity. Fish is served with a carote and a potato from a can.

There are many restaurants to choose from in Tossa de Mar, but this one you do not want to miss. Stunning romantic atmosphere with outdoor terraced seating. You are warmly welcomed by the owner and immediately served delicious mussels, bread, & olives. The seafood is fresh, expertly prepared, and de-boned tableside. The veal was mouth watering. We asked for a... More

Delighted to find this restaurant tucked away on a side street. Ate there twice; it was that good! Lunch on the terrace was one of our favorite meals in 3 weeks in Catalonia. Starters were fish soup, steamed clams and lobster fideua (similar to paella but with noodles). Two of us shared a grilled mixed seafood platter for our main.... More
