The restaurant gives some good food but you should be aware of what you order. Once you forget all the basic dishes that you can eat anywhere else in the world, you have a few fish specialty that are really good. Not the best restaurant in the world but deffinately okay!

I went here twice. First time was really good, and the squid I had highly memorable. But when I went the next evening with a friend the food wasn't quite as good (admittedly it was a bit later, but they serve until 11.30pm. On the plus side, service was excellent both times, and the young lad who is front-of-house is... More

We ate at this restaurant twice during a recent stay in Tossa de Mar. The Cim i Tomba and the John Dory dishes were both delicious! We ate on the outdoor patio and found the service to be as good as the food. If I returned to Tossa I would definitely dine at this restaurant again.

Dined at this restaurant 3 times during a 4 night holiday to this area. Our first 2 meals were delicious but on the third occasion the lobster paella was inedible. The lobster was cremated and when we brought it to the attention of staff, their response was unsatisfactory .we will certainly not return

We had a very looong dinner here as a family. The service was 10 out of 10. We had mixed grilled seafood platter with some tapas. The freshness of the seafood was particularly noticeable. The menu was full of choices. The restaurant is literally next to the Tossa castle wall. It may not have the sea view but the food... More

From the outside Can Carlus looks much the same as many other restaurants in the surrounding few hundred metres. But it is different and better than the rest we tried (with the exception of La Lluna). Some of the dishes were truly excellent. I particularly liked the baby squid with baby broad beans. The waiters seemed very keen that we... More

The setting under the historic walls are quite special, the restaurant is busy, but the service was excellent. The Paella was to salty for my wife, but I also tried her dish and whilst it was salty, I enjoyed it. I had the special fish stew Cim i tomba, certainly different but nice.

On our recent stay in Tossa we have dined here on a good few occasions. We found the staff to be most pleasant & attentive without being pushy in trying to get you to dine there. On the first evening we dined there we decided on the tourist set menu, which has to be said gives the diner an extensive choice... More

We stopped off here for some Tapas. The food was very tasty and we had some lovely wine to accompany it. An enjoyable lunch!

This Reatrount was located next to a castle. When I was reading the menu the man tried to lure us into his premise by offering us a free drink . When we sat down the owner removed the ash trays but then there was no salt or pepper on the table which I think is necessary to provide. How Ever... More
