Very Good

We ate here on a first night in Tossa having seen picture of fish grill taken by previous customer. My wife ordered the fish grill as a result and it was just the same as in photo and tasted as good as it looked. I had the monkfish tails which were nice but we felt coud have done with a... read more

We tried this restaurant based on Trip Advisor recommendations. Most of the tapas are out on display on the bar top with toothpicks to determine prices. I've decided I do not prefer to have my food this way. It's a turn off to see flies on the food or to see food that I would prefer not be left out... More

Recomended by our accommodation providers, we tried this restaurant on our first night in Tossa. Very happy we did. A warm greeting on arrival, we sat outside. Specials were described as clams prepared on the grill for entree, and grilled fresh fish, 'very fresh-local'. Sounded fine to us, and it was. Simple in presentation, tasty, and the fish was fresh.... More

This restaurant opened earlier this year after the family that run the original Bahiton Bar took over the premises originally run as "Forchetta" It is on the left just up the road leading to the Minerva statue and Mar Menuda Lovely position with great views of the Vila Vella through the panoramic windows. Nice table settings and glass wear. No... More

Used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Tossa but I've noticed it has changed over the past couple of years. They've tried to become a bit more upscale and while the place settings and dishes are nice the whole atmosphere has changed. Food was average but the prices above average. I had the peppers stuffed with cod and... More

My husband ordered several dishes. I tried them all. And they were all great! The food was good, staff were friendly, and overall great place.

The food is good, but the place is about turnover.. ..the owners want to fill as many tables as possible all evening. Perhaps this keeps the prices friendly. Sitting inside gives a bad smell, since the furnace extraction of the hood does not work well.

Ate here twice in two days (lunch and dinner) -really impressed with the delicious fish and lovely friendly atmosphere! Not "posh" but we loved the hustle and bustle and the food was so delicious (as was the sangria!) - good value for what we had, don't be put off by the simple, café -like exterior as this is a real... Very popular with locals and visitors alike this small family restaurant has been a favourite for years. Nice to see a "Recommended on TripAdvisor" sticker in the window. Last night we started with catalan bread and then shared a plate of grilled sardines and a dish of prawns and monkfish tails-delicious! A bottle of house rosado and a shared cheesecake... More

Salad starter is enough for two. The meat kabob is exceptional pork and veggies that are well seasoned. Very juicy and tender with a great grilled char. The prawns are excellent, the Iberian ham melted in my mouth. Their desserts were very good and they had a nice variety. The service was friendly, professional and timely. The value here is... More
