We arrived and were seated immediately at a lovely table with a beautiful view. The service was a little rushed but correct. Good tasty food with excellent value for money given the location and the quality of the food!

Outside the old walls of this idyllic little town in well known Spain's Costa Brava there are several lined up restaurants one next to the other. All, from the outside look pretty much the same, some of them even have acceptable menus for Eur 17/18. So why you should go and spent an average of Eur 70/80 per person on... More

We booked Can Simon via our hotel reception 2 days before. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were offered a table of our choice. We chose the €68.00 Classic Menu, which had 6 courses and coffee, and a complimentary copy of cava. Each of the dishes was absolutely amazing, with some really wonderful tastes and textures. Although 6... More

We went for the 68 Euro (per person) tasting menu and it was spectacular, the courses were a refined version of local dishes, so tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The waiters made the experience that little more special, with attention to the finest detail, i thoroughly enjoyed my first Michelin Star restaurant experience and a definite must if you are... Outstanding innovative catalan cooking. The service is impecable paying attention to the smallest detail. We went with our 8 year old child and they put together a child menu that our son loved. Wine list is very good. It was one of our best culinary experiences this year. Location is also very good, next to the Tossa castle.. A visit... More

Very quite restaurant in the old center of Tossa de Mar. We chose the 68 € degustation menu. The quantity of food is correct, but few variety of diches for that price.

We came here for my wife's birthday, as it was highly recommended on TripAdvisor. A fantastic menu with the likes of John Dory, Turbot, the most awesome Squid Risotto starter , desserts, surprise chocolates etc and a really good price (150.00 euro) for a One Star Michelin restaurant!! The food was sublime, innovative and the presentation was amazing Pietro the... More

You go into a restaurant believing that the everything from apertif to the dessert will be paid for alla carte. Not at Can Simon. From the time we sat down, we were given an apertif of Cava, followed by some unique "snacks," including seaweed "crisps" presented in a conch. This was followed by a small portion of marinated sea bass.... More

I went to la cuina de can simon based on reading in lonely planet that it was Tossa's 'michelin star' which it has received one of in 2007. I'm not normally a big splurger but I decided since I was in this tiny town, that it must be something special and to give it a go. I should have realized... More
