The best culinairy experience of Tossa!

This was one of the best meals I've had in my life! My only regret was that we didn't save this for our last night in Tossa. This is definitely the get dressed up/fancy meal of the trip. It was expensive, but worth it! Don't worry about having to sit outside, the inside is beautiful and comfortable. The food was... More

I had dinner at La Cuina de Can Simon one night in late May and cannot praise it enough. I ordered two dishes – an absolutely luscious crab soup with finely minced vegetables and a perfectly prepared seared and very rare loin of tuna with vegetable garnishes and drizzled sauce. I was given multiple amuse bouche (all very tasty), bread... More

Ate here last July while on a short visit to lovely Tossa. We booked for the Friday evening and were immediately offered a table on the terrace which was lovely as you could see all the people walking up and down. We ordered a starter, main course and dessert off the A La Carte. We got a free glass of... More

Seven of us on holiday in Tossa de Mar (Costa Brava) were looking for a pleasant celebration for our final night in Spain - and boy did we strike it rich! I'm not a "foodie", but this little restaurant (seven tables) was THE BEST. Expensive - yes - but completely worth it. They have two fixed price offerings (65 &... More

We went to eat at Can Simon because the menu looked interesting -- and because it had good ratings on Trip Advisor. The meal we had was so fabulous that we returned for the final meal of our vacation. We never thought we'd find Foodie Heaven at Tossa de Mar, but we came shockingly close. The chef used local ingredients... More

We arrived and were seated immediately at a lovely table with a beautiful view. The service was a little rushed but correct. Good tasty food with excellent value for money given the location and the quality of the food!

Outside the old walls of this idyllic little town in well known Spain's Costa Brava there are several lined up restaurants one next to the other. All, from the outside look pretty much the same, some of them even have acceptable menus for Eur 17/18. So why you should go and spent an average of Eur 70/80 per person on... More

We booked Can Simon via our hotel reception 2 days before. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were offered a table of our choice. We chose the €68.00 Classic Menu, which had 6 courses and coffee, and a complimentary copy of cava. Each of the dishes was absolutely amazing, with some really wonderful tastes and textures. Although 6... More
