We found this restaurant thanks to TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! The decoration is lovely, full of typical objects, from "cooking gadgets" to more decorative elements. You can have real Portugal food here and I was really sorry that I could not try the desserts because they all looked delicious. Portions can be big so if you want to... More

One of the best restaurants I've ever been. From the decoration to the food there's nothing to complain! The starters, the main course, and the dessert were just perfect!

We have eaten here many times during our stay in the region. The food is good, but the menu never changes much. The staff is a bit formal, many tourists. Entree is tapas style. Portions very big: you can ask for a doggy bag. High on price for the region.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Portuguese people and we loved it. Because we were a group of nine we couldn't sit at the terrace. But we didn't mind at all; downstairs is a charmingly decorated room. Don't forget to ask for the starters/tapas as they are not on the menu. Don't miss the big plate with a wide... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant and it was as good as the first time. The initial spread of meats, cheese, olives, bread and spreads was amazing followed by our entrees. Will return when visiting again.

Excellent service. My husband requested an omelette which wasn't on the menu and they were happy to cook one. Food very tasty.

After visiting wonderful monastery, the best thing you can do is go to this restaurant and enjoy in delicious portuguese kitchen, nice atmosphere and kind staff. For starter we had cod paste, scrambled eggs with something (very tasty!) and ubiquitous olives. Traditional soup and steak "Antonio Padeiro" were just amazing. I'm sorry that we were on trip to Porto, so... More
