The decor leaves a little to be desired but the food more than makes up for it, delicious fresh ingredients and traditonal menu with a wine selection that complements the food perfectly. Not to be missed if you're in the area

We dined her for the second time and the experience was even better than last time a couple of years ago. Every dish of the menu was a real masterpiece of taste experience and the wine they proposed us completed a perfect evening. Like I mentioned earlier, they earn 2 michelinstars for the food, but probably got 1 because of... More

what a great gastronomic experience!! I was there with my wife for her birthday ; we've followed Chef's advice: the menu of the day was so great. We spent a very nice evening and we've discovered the "jets de houblon (hop)". Really a place to go if you are staying in the area.

We dined at Philippe Nuyens' restaurant at least a dozen time, even before he received his Michelin Star. Until now we always took the menu, sometimes with wine included. Philippe and his small team create with fresh and seasonal ingredients always a nice meal. He does not really experiment and cooks traditional French-Belgian, but if you are in the neighborhood... We've been here already several times and the chef always combines superb products in an elegant fashion, respecting the product adding discrete seasoning. Surf and turf is always top and surprising. Reasonable portions, nicely selected wines. The interior is simple for a star restaurant, you feel immediate at home with the warm welcome and menu presentation by the chef's spouse.... More

At the level of a Michelin star I had a very fine 3 course menu with high quality and expensive ingredients. Fine combinations of crustiness and smooth tastes. Not too daring but very well done nevertheless. Rather small restaurant with very friendly personnel. The 3 course menu is sharply priced at € 30,- On the other hand the € 75,-... More

The best seafood on the Belgian coast. Fresh, well balanced, tasteful ingredients. Very good atmosphere, top service. Worth the Michelinstar.

The location, a bit hidden on a busy avenue (with road works in progress) next to a take-away Chinese, is a bit unfortunate. All the rest is great. I have never tasted seafood in a more pure form, with the vegetables truly supporting the main ingredient. Very good service, and a remarkable wine-list. Excellent value for money !
