A definite stop!

Babel came highly recommended and so, we had to try it out. Besides, I love Moroccan food, and had to get my fix as there aren't many Moroccan places near here. I can't agree with Babel's rating based on our experience there. We popped in for a late lunch but ended up stranded in Babel for over two hours... After an initial seating from the proprietor, we were left for 20 minutes before we could order & more than 45 minutes before the food came; another 20-30 minutes to get the... More

This little place is a nice respite for a drink as it has sliding glass doors and inside nice little tables and chairs and air conditioning. A refrigerator and tiny bar is smack inside. The kitchen is directly behind. This is a very small locale with a very small upstairs for dining. Its nothing special, but does offer a different... More

Perfect food and very good service. The Cuscus and Humus was amazing and authentic, and everything with a big smile by the host.

We eat here regularly and are always greeted warmly by Oscar and his wife, Nadia. Nothing is too much trouble for either of them - the food is freshly prepared, presented well and tastes delicious! Being vegetarian, it is great to have the chance to eat food with a different "theme", rather than the more common meat-based tapas. Oscar and... More

My wife and I went there on a quiet evening, keen to try something less trad Spanish. The small dining area has a nice feel about it and that sense was reinforced through the evening with lovely food and relaxed service. We had humus (fresh, light, subtle) and tagine, which was tasty and cooked well. The owner Oscar plays 'world'... More

I have been to Babel many times and taken friends and family there on numerous occasions. The owner, Oscar is always very welcoming and makes us feel very at home. If we have a large group of people we sit in the upstairs mezzanine room which is like a private dining room. The menu is limited in choice but what... More

We lucked into this spot when we were looking for a place during Holy Week, when the nightly processional had either closed or packed all of the other places. The main floor here was very busy, but the owner suggested we move upstairs, which is outfitted with low tables, couches and cushions. The food was terrific, the service was great,... More

My wife and I had lunch here and it was superb. The service was very friendly and the food tasted very fresh and well seasoned. I will definitely be going here again.
