I was staying in Arcos and eating here with a group of friends. The food was good, but the evening was completely ruined when the waiter kicked a kitten that had been playing under the tables. Like the other diners, I was shocked and horrified. The kitten had not been causing any trouble, and most of the diners were enjoying... More

Great taste of tapas specially the goat cheese with caramelized onions and pepper. Thanks for the lovely evening out for a reasonable price. Service / attention could be more friendly since it was not so busy this would not be a problem.

Stopped here with a friend on our day at Arcos. I think the stars were the eggplant with goat cheese, mushrooms with goat cheese, and the mushrooms carbonara. Steak with bacon and onion was also good, if a bit over done.. But still great for the price. Service a bit slow, we were outside and in the far corner, maybe... More

My husband and I sat at the bar and shared a spinach crepe with cheese (tapa), the solomillo with caramelized onions and potatoes (tapa), and the fried chicken breast with potatoes (racione), plus two glasses each of the house white wine and were given complimentary olives and thinly sliced jamon iberico plus fresh bread. The total bill came to $19.50... More

I ate here twice, both times in the evening. The restaurant has tables inside and also outside on the opposite side of the road, hardly any distance up the hill. It is opposite Taberna Jovenes which is why their table are that bit away. Good food both evenings. I had aubergine with goats's cheese and honey, battered dates, a solomillo... More

We had a lovely lunch here. The menu includes some dishes which are a bit different from the usual tapas offering. The service was good, and it made a great stop to cool down a bit on a very hot day.

I used to live in Arcos de la Frontera, and took everyone who came to visit here. I and friends from Arcos still talk about this place to everyone! This is an amazing little place on the road up into the old town. The food is incredible - some of the best tapas I have had anywhere, with great wine... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. The food was among the best we had on our holiday. I loved the delicious goats cheese with aubergine. It was very busy and the service could have been sharper. However, it all made for a relaxing evening. Go here and I think you will be happy you did.

Expected a bit better as this was recommended by TA, RickSteves and our B&B. Tasty local cheese and olives. Croquettes seemed microwaved as they were mushy.

We were here right after Carnaval so things were a bit quiet, but that was ok. We told the owner to surprise us with tapas so he kept bringing out great dish after great dish! Steak, eggplant and goat cheese with honey, etc. And great drinks too!
