Pleasant lunch

Had a lovely light lunch here while visiting the 3 Borrmean islands - the fritto misto was delicious and of course the view enhanced the experience. Would recommend.

Had a group dinner as a farewell for a tour of Florence and Northern Italy this past week. The fresh perch was melt-in-your-mouth good with a very attentive staff and a location on Isola dei Pescatori, which is known for the most restaurants per capita in Italy. It was a very nice dinner.

We were staying on the island and had a meal here on one of the evenings just by chance. It was a great experiance not just because we enjoyed the food but because the guys were so freindly and welcoming. There were a number of tour groups there when we arrived but a few tables of people staying on this... More

Visited twice during an 11 day stay in Stresa. On our first visit was on a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed with Italian family groups and couples, many of whom were obviously celebrating special occasions. All made for a great atmosphere. For the second visit we made a reservation via our hotel and we used La Pescheria's complimentary boat... More

We had grilled lake fish, grilled vegetables, frites and a lovely bottle of wine, overlooking the lake, on a very wet July Friday lunchtime. The waiter was very helpful and, until a large party arrived, happily let the four or five tables of tourists practise their Italian on him. After that, English was (as is so often the case in... We were here for lunch and sitting on the very nice terrace. The service was very friendly. We both had fresh trota with different side dishes and a nice desert. Besides the good food the place is worth going there because of the location.

We had lunch for thirteen people on Sunday 11th May. We ordered a fish menu which we had booked in advance: fish ravioli (al dente, delicious), risotto with perch (creamy), whitefish on a bed of tomatoes, olives and capers (fish perfectly cooked) then a selections of desserts (light and fluffy tiramisu, yummy caramel panne cotta etc). The staff were attentive... More
