Been to the Camden many many times and feel it is declining in many ways.... Food very average and over priced.... Lovely greeting and waitress who served us but let down by the person who took our money at the till Would do well to learn how to smile and not worry too much about the regulars already in the... We took the family for Sunday lunch. Prompt and charming service from efficient and friendly staff. The décor is really first class and imaginative in a clean bright setting. Most people were taking lunch and the pub was very busy, yet we never waited for anything. The drinks are reasonably priced for a pub of this standing. We had the... More

Came across the pub on a day out. Looked good as it has AA stars but what a disappointment. The food was burnt and our waiter was extremely rude. We ordered a beer shandy & a Lime cordial (which was watery & flavourless) to have with our food. We ordered fish pie - and had to wait 30 minutes for... More

This place is better than most of the pubs of the type I have been in. The staff were super friendly and the choice of beers and food really good. Some fish dishes that were different and all the staples of an English menu like pies and burgers. It was obvious that the veg was cooked fresh and the pies... More

As we usually do me and my family visit the Camden arms to have our dinner and as always have. A splendid time. There food is delicious and the waiters that we know in person have a real friendly attitude. As always we will return again and again in the future.

Visited with a good friend for lunch, amazed at the choice available. Almost anything you can think of. With a lot of it being homemade.. We both enjoyed a a good hearty meal. At a good price. Will return for sure.

We were staying in the local area and had missed breakfast therefore looking forward to a nice lunch, we found this hotel which had easy parking and read the menu with great interest. There were items for each tastebud, we had the fish platter to start which was fresh and tasty, followed by choices of fish, and burgers. The choice... More
