We've lived locally for the last year and have loved having The Station Inn as our local. The food is always freshly prepared. I'm particularly fond of the specials. If you happen to visit when the caramel pear tart is on the specials it's a must have. Possibly my favourite dessert ever - and I like my desserts! I'm also... More

We visited this little pub recently and enjoyed a very good meal one Saturday evening! The lounge bar was very busy with diners when we arrived and we were pleased that we had heeded our landlady's advice and booked in advance. We had the last table! We received a warm welcome from the staff and also a few pointers on... More

Our small wedding party ate here the night before our wedding at Gretna. We had seen the reviews on this site and were not disappointed. The food was exceptional, reasonably priced and nicely presented. We had rung up to reserve a table, but we were surprised to find we were the only people dining! (Thursday night) Would certainly eat there... More

Staying at Days Inn and decided to eat here after reading reviews on trip advisor. Lovely home made soup with hot roll and butter, chicken stuffed with haggis wrapped in bacon with whiskey cream sauce. Home made chips and veg (red cabbage was superb). Raspberry pavlova for dessert. Wife had belly pork main and chocolate brownie dessert. Approx £27 total.... More

Found this little gem through tripadvisor & must say that it's one of the best pub meals we have had. Typical old fashioned small pub with a lounge room & tap room. Hubby has asparagus soup which was divine followed by chicken & haggis with fresh veg & homemade chips. It was beautifully cooked & very tasty I'm told. I... More

Dropped in here for dinner whilst staying at Broadlea of Robgill B&B on our way up to Shetland. Serves from 5pm which was good news. Food was good, hot and the portions were good. For some items there is a choice of portion size handy if you are trying not to put on the pounds! Would definitely eat here again... More

We came across this little pub/restaurant by chance. We had booked into the nearby Bruce's Cave campsite and wanted somewhere to eat within easy walking distance. A little bit of research on the internet came up with dozens of rave reviews for The Station Inn in Kirkpatrick Fleming and we were not disappointed. Our meal was superb and the whole... More
