Visited here last Saturday when staying locally. As others have said the outside wouldn't lead you to think you would get a great meal. We were made very welcome and had a lovely meal.

We were recommended to try the Station Inn by the landlady at our B&B and we were not disappointed! We were warmly welcomed and quickly served and seated despite being a bit early for our booking. The menu is that little bit different from the usual pub fayre and the 'Special' board offered unusual pub grub too. The food arrived... More

We found the food and service excellent, well presented with wholesome vegetables. The bar/dining area was very comfortable/clean. Parking adjacent to the entrance. We also... More

Been today for lovely Sunday lunch. The roast beef just melted in your mouth and the selection of veg with it was lovely. Would recommend sticky toffee pudding for sweet.
