Description: Three reception rooms in the living quarters of the aristocratic family...
Three reception rooms in the living quarters of the aristocratic family that used to live in the Chateau now accommodate a top-quality a la carte restaurant. Each room is furnished in its own distinctive manner, and in full harmony with the original painted walls and ceilings. The comprehensive menu is oriented towards French cuisine – and our renowned wines form perfect complement to the culinary art of our chef Otto Nijenhuis and his kitchen staff. On sunny days the splendid patio is particularly appealing to diners. Six stylishly-furnished rooms offer groups from 5 to 300 guests marvellous surroundings for festive and business gatherings.

Must seen!

The ambiance in this old castle is just amazing. A huge property with lots of houses and a church welcomes you for a classy brunch or diner.

we had the 5 course dinner, which is very reasonably priced for the quality they bring. Two delicious appetizers (of which a combination of 3 foie gras preparations) came before a beef tartare with foie gras ice cream. Very light and tastefull. Turbot was cooked to perfection as was the breast of duck. Small but tasteful cheeseplatter and to end... More

We had a group (goodbye) dinner with 12 colleagues. The menu and wines were selected by the person who said goodbye. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I had. Perfect food, no exceptions. Excellent wines. And a very nice, professional but at the same time very young lady host. I was so enthusiastic that I asked her for... More

28 November 2014 We had a great evening in the restaurant Château Saint Gerlach. Cannot just say "a great meal", I am rather enthusiastic about the entire experience. The location is a true Château, ancient and grand, surrounded by an enormous park. Staff is very friendly, charming, genuinely interested in your well-being as a guest and knowledgeable about the dishes... More

If you are in this neighbourhood, or even stay in de the hotel: do not go to this bistro!! The service is really terrible. We had dinner here and a couple of times during dinner we had to wait a very long time until they took away our plates after we were done. It is a very small bistro, with... More

We went to our beloved Chateau St Gerlach, but this time to the Bistro. Very nice atmosphere and good food. Well balanced 3 course menu. The red wine of the house( Merlot) was excellent at a reasonable price per glass. We will certainly come back. Good experience.

Both the main restaurant and Bistro were fabulous. See my report on the hotel stay. Both chefs were imaginative and food delicious. The service was excellent and the main restaurant typified fine dining at it's best. Lovely views over the lawns from both restaurants. Excellent wine list. Not to be missed

Quite one of the most elegant dining experiences we have encountered. The three dining rooms look as if they are right out of a historical film, my only criticism would be that the rooms are perhaps a little wintery in feel and as we had the unusual temperature of 35 degrees with the threat of rain the feel was a...
