Unusual quaint place which is more of a Wine bar with good food. Used the place several times for private functions and always turned out excellent service. Very friendly atmosphere.

Every 3 weeks or so I leave work in the UK and dash to the airport for the 18.30 flight to Malta. After landing, the lovely Mr Wright collects me and we head straight to Fra Giuseppe to start my visit with a relaxing nightcap. An excellent wine list, lovely sharing platters and a warm friendly atmosphere is all brought... More

We like to go a lot in this winebar. The selection of both food and wine is good. The service and food itself are lovely. Thumbs up!

Definitely our favourite wine-bar, whether visiting with friends or as a couple. The owner is a great host and all the young waiters are really helpful. The background music provides a wonderful setting and although the menu is limited (typical of a wine bar), there are daily specials available and it's always difficult to choose between a hearty mushroom soup... Evenings at this winebar are never a dissapointment. Food is good and not too expensive, vast selection of wines which are not overpriced, a good service and cosy ambience. I would definitely recommend booking a table upstairs in winter and try book one of the tables outside on a warm summer night. Definitely worth a try.

Rough and ready and typical local, well worth the trip and not expensive. Watch out for the priest with the left hook!

I have been frequenting this cosy wine bar ever since it opened a couple of years ago. Food is good, prices are honest, staff is friendly, can park easily and the owner Stefan Agius is a great host and makes you feel at home immediately. This place is one place that we always visit when we go to Malta. It´s... More

To be honest I have mixed feelings about this winebar. The evening started out pleasantly, the food was quite good, the portions big, and the prices very reasonable. The place is small, but nicely converted and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the experience started to sour after the first fifteen mintues. The wine we ordered was not available, similarly the... More

Went there with my partner and friends. My partner and I had a bruschetta with cheese, which was delicious especially the melted cheese and had a mixed platter with cheeses and cold meat. The platter was good and was not expensive when compared to other wine bars. The place was cosy and adequate. The staff were friendly but towards the... More

I must admit that I am quite fond of this wine bar and tend to visit it regularly. This wine bar has a considerable selection of wines and a small selection of nibbles and daily specialities. The specialities of the day are particularly good, with home made soups and pasta at a very reasonable price. The owner, Stefan Agius constantly... More
