Decent food perfect location

My family and I weren't overexcited about the food we ate but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that we went to Camogli during Christmas when there was absolutely nobody else around. Since we were the only people eating there, I don't think the food was quite as fresh as it usually is. We... read more

I waited until i tried some others to compare and it has not only the best variety, but also cooked and tastes the best. Get in early as it does get full very quick. Also a great spot to watch the fisherman come in and unload the catch of the day. The staff are pleasant and the chef pops his... More

Nice restaurant right on the harbour quay. A wealth of pasta with seafood recipes, but little else. The mixed fish course also contained seafood. There were 2 non-seafood dishes out of a total of 30 non-desert offerings. Staff were initially not very helpful and the level of English spoken was very poor. Not our best night out!

We ate here for supper but it would be great for lunch too as all the tables are shaded. Moules marinara and their signature pâté di seppia for starters followed by delicious swordfish and tasty grilled squid. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and it has a lovely position overlooking the harbour. Ask for a table outside.

Luckily the view was spectacular! We had to ask twice for bread, water never arrived and the waiter was grumpy because we only had starters! The view Nader us stay.

I was afraid that this would be a tourist trap because of its perfect location right at the port. I am glad to say that I was wrong. The seafood based menu had way more than the typical "linguine with clams" (although they were there too), with reasonable prices and one of the most knowledgeable, professional and friendly waiters I... Great atmosphere, fabulous food, friendly service a must try spot. We had delicious antipasti and pasta, some of the best we had this summer. Classic trenette were top but the house seafood pasta was amazing. Very highly recommended. Best to book. Location is superb by the harbour side but parking is tricky.

Our b&b manager recommended this place. They had a beautiful place set up for us including a water fish for our dog! Service was professional and there when we needed them. Local Ligurian wine went great with the seafood dishes. Prices were reasonable and the entire experience was quite pleasant. Great view and people watching. A great choice for the... More

This restaurant is perfectly located in the beautiful fishing port... After the apèritif, we tooked both first the spaghetti with baby squids (superb) and a selection of fish (catches of the day) afterwards (delicious) followed by the creme Catalan.. As wine a very good local Ligurian red wine... Total price = € 126 A visit more than worth...

We were not sure whether to try Vento Ariel because some people appeared not to have enjoyed the experience. We were very pleased we did. The fish was fresh, the house octopus pate unique and the sevice was friendly and efficient.
