I have visited Rhodes twice the past couple of years. Some good friends took me to Le Gourmet , because as they said "I should try the food there! ". The place is cosy and the staff is friendly. They make you feel like home actually! They guide you through the menu, they are always happy to explain and suggest... More

We are very glad we gave Le Gourmet a try because it was the best meal we had on Rhodes (spent 6 nights there). The food is honest, local and traditional. The squid in particular was outstanding, so fresh and tender. It is also great value for money, we stuffed ourselves full and also shared a carafe of wine all... More

We ate here twice whilst on a weeks holiday in ixia. We had seen the reviews on trip advisor and so tried hunting it down on our second night. Its not on the main strip, but there are signs about halfway down the road directing you to take a left turn up a side road. We were worried at first... More

Worth the 2 minute walk away from the typical tourist restaurants on the main road, if you appreciate delicious, well prepared food, of a high standard, served in a friendly and helpful manner. Undoubtedly better value for money than many other places in Ixia and Rhodes Town. As it was late when we finished eating and there was a problem... More

We went on a Sunday evening late September. Yes, interesting interior but that was about it. No lamb, pork or fish - all went at lunchtime. The chicken dish was disappointing AND also tepid. The woman very much in charge condescendingly observed that you British like your food rather hot, no apology. If they run out of main food on... More

Looked forward to going here as most of the reviews seen before we went were good to excellent. Restaurant up a side street but easy to find. ON entering first impression was of a nice space but perhaps a litle old fashioned. Shown to our table and asked "what would we like OR shall I tell you what to eat".... More

We ate here twice during a recent stay in Rhodes and on both occasions felt the food was excellent. The prices are higher than some of the other bars and restaurants in Ixia, but everything tasted home made. We both had the rose veal and agreed that it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Front of house staff will offer... More

Very interesting place, but food was OK. I was met by owner, who insisted that her food was 'very good, cooked the Greek way'. But it was OK. You can get better food, for a lot less at the bars on the main road.

We visited here after seeing the great reviews on here all I can say is they must of ate at a different restaurant! The food was below average and way overpriced for what we had! The manager was aggressive telling everyone how to eat and a poor Russian couple next to us didnt want to eat the food brought out... More

As Le Gourmet is a family ran business it will happen once in a while to have some pressure and fighting. We apologise to the dear guest for that. As for the fact that the guest thinks that we are forcing our way of eating it is very subjective and the rest of the reviews can prove it. we are... More

We saw this restaurant mentioned here before we went to Ixia. Well worth a visit. Find it 50 metres down a small lane by Coconut restaurant . The inside is much better than the outside .We were careful not to be persuaded into the mezet knowing that we would not be able to eat all those dishes, although they looked... More
