No clue what we ordered but it was excellent

We arrived at Gaston based on the reviews from TA. It is a sweet little restaurant, intimate and comfortable. After one look at the menu we knew that we would not be able to figure out what to order. The staff tried so hard to translate for us with their limited English and were extremely helpful... read more

The waiter seemed a tad unhappy at first, when he realized there were four Americans to be served. However, once he learned that one of us spoke a decent amount of Spanish, he warmed up, was joking with us, playing different music selections based on our conversations of where we were from, etc. We shared a fish stew that was... We ate here in June, 2014. We were looking for a nice meal, not Michelin star quality, but a cut above the usual. This place filled the bill. You can go prix fixe or a la carte. The food is sort of "nouvelle cuisine." The wine list was good. Our waiter spoke essentially no English, and while one of our... More

We wanted to dine at Gaston based on its reputation of a gourmand restaurant. We were not disappointed. The place is located on the first floor and has to be reached via a staircase. Look for signs on the street. The interior is stylish leather and wood, reminding me of the British style. We went for the basic tasting menu.... More

After so many mediocre meals, our family was all relieved to come across Gaston's based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were a family of 7, with kids ranging from 8-20, the restaurant accomodated us, were flexible in letting the younger ones order one plate rather than the standard 2 platos. They treated us to a wonderful gaspacho with tomato ice... More

We arrived in Jaca late one evening on our driving tour of mid-to-northern Spain, and found most of the restaurants closed. Gaston's was about to close, but they kindly stayed open late to accommodate two hungry travellers - and we're so glad they did. We left it to the chef to surprise us with some of his tapas specialties, and... More

A restaurant no one visiting Jaca should missed. Very good cooking. They are specialized in low temperature cooking (carne confitada) and their results are delicious. They offer two special deals (menú degustación and menú Gaston) with a very good price. The restaurant is in a first floor so it is very easy to miss the place !

Great value 13 euros lunch with decent bottle of wine, other choice was 27€ . Lots of Jaca restaurants serve lunch menus around 13€ but often wine is pretty awful. But nice free pre-starter, and quality of dishes just that bit better than std. Server even spoke some english. Eve menu at 19€ not including drinks looked good.
