A good selection of dishes - many traditional. Ambience good - a place well frequented by spaniards - both local and local tourists. Service friendly, heaters provided outside during colder days. Well worth stopping off for an afternoon meal.

Got there early evening after a visit to Gonzalez Byass with a severe thirst and the need for food. It was 7:15 so no dinner??? The staff however were helpful and beer and tapas were soon supplied. We sat and watched as two nearby restaurants were only set up just before 8:00 an amazing thing for UK visitors as thats... More

Bar Juanita is tucked away in what used to be the old fish market. Set in a courtyard with a few other restaurants, it is also a restaurant. I recommend you visit earlish, just after 9pm and enjoy one or two house tapas with their excellent sherry choice. Then go for a walk nearby and see the cathedral etc, by... More

The location is stunning. A must visit for Jerez. It is exactly what you would expect from an Andulician restaurant in a beautiful alley on the edge of one of the main squares and the tiny back streets. They have menus for all major european languages if you're not confident of trying it in Spanish so grab one of each... More

As indicated in a recent report, not the easiest place to find. Down a side alley midpoint of one side of the square. There are other restaurants down here as well. The food was great, and the staff were all friendly and provided a very good service. They recognised that the menu in English was a good choice. Well worth... More

This is the place to go for the slightly of the beaten track in a narrow street if you're looking for good food and attentive service. We had lunch here and we're delighted with the food which was very fresh, hot and good portions. We had Tripe and Dog fish both were delightful. The service was excellent and they provided... More

If you're in Jerez, you've got to eat here! Great food, not expensive and the best service in town! The restaurant is well hidden, we've searched for over an hour. On Plaza Arenal, you have to enter the alley on the right hand of the Tourist Information. Have a bottle of Tierra Blanca (regional white wine) with your meal and... More

We had two good meals at Bar Juanito during our visit to Jerez. Both were enjoyable with good food and drinks and good service. The restaurant is tucked away down a side street off the main square so it is quiet and has a pleasant atmosphere.

Just off Jerez's main square, we really enjoyed our visit to Bar Juanito. We'd eaten there in the evening during a previous visit to the city but this time just wanted a quick, light lunch. The setting is lovely and the service quick and friendly. We had three delicious and freshly made tapas, a large (much needed!) bottle of sparkling... More
