On a Tuesday night in November it was a group of six locals and us. We had a variety of dishes and shared. We've never had anything made of spinach that tasted like the spinach croquettes - delicious. The ripe fresh tomatoes and mozzarella were good and the other dishes that were all yummy. The wine list was small but... More

This being our first night in Jerez we wanted a restaurant close to our accommodation. We decided to share raciones along with most of the mainly local diners in this large outdoor (but partially covered terrace at the rear of the restaurant). We were delighted with our first course - tomatoes and garlic from "Conil" and Guisa de garbanzos (... More

Had a quick shared green paella here. Really impressed with service and concern of waiter that we were getting what we wanted. Paella was tasty, came quickly and fitted our request. We'll go back and try other dishes.

We had several delicious tapas here at spanish lunch time (at around 3pm) washed down with some chilled fino.......including garlic prawns, Manchego cheese & olive oil, hake in a yummi sauce followed by a delicious dessert - (banoffi pie made by the proprietors sister) and coffee to finish. Highly recommened from 2 Welsh travellers

Not an extensive menu but had the Iberian pork with caramelized oranges and it was superb. A fantastic meal then rounded off with excellent (and unbelievably generous measures) of Spanish brandy. Best meal we had in Jerez all week. The owner came to say hello and explain the provenance of the food - complete with photos on his phone from... More

I cannot recommend Bar Bocarambo highly enough. Our family pre ordered a Paella which was cooked at our table by the owner. Some great tapas, the spinach croquettes were superb and ensaladias great. The melon ice cream which contained pieces of melon was the best ice cream I have ever tasted. Great service aswell.

Having read the reviews about this bar we had to try it out. At first we were a little sceptical as the menu was not that special. However, once the food arrived we knew why the reviews were so good. The food was delicious and the kidneys in Jerez wine to die for. The owner came to the table and... More

The owner is delightful and helpful with a passion for food. The front of house staff are not. We arrived earlyish, 8.30pm, and were not greeted. There was no record of a reservation either. The seats were uncomfortable and the menus tatty, amateurish and uninviting. Had it not been for the NO 1 Tripa advisor status we would have left... More

I frequently use trip advisor but this is the first review I have felt compelled to write. While I am American, my mother is from Jerez so I have grown up with Spanish food all my life. I have had some of the best so suffice it to say I have discerning taste. Thus it is with quite a bit... More
