It is OK but there are better

A good position with a large outside seating area (with entertainment from buskers on an evening). There are menus in english. It was very busy when we went so I am maybe being a bit unfair but the service was pretty poor and inattentive. The food was mixed. The salads were excellent but I would... read more

Ordered a paella for two. Told it would take the usual 20 minutes. No problem, as we ordered 2 tapas to start with. After 5 minutes the paella was put in the middle of the table & long before we had finished our starters. It had obviously been frozen & defrosted in a microwave as it was watery, tasteless &... This is a great place for travelers unsure of where to start eating. The menus are available in English. The food and prices are very good! They also have seating for larger groups. The staff is very attentive - but it is custom to ask for the check at the end of the meal - so if you need anything,... More

The food was good as well as the service, but they have the most uncomfortable seats ever. Shame because I couldn't wait to get out of the place although we were enjoying the food!!!

This restaurant/ tapas bar is in all the guidebooks and is a pleasant place if not very exciting. We were well looked after and had some good tapas . It wasn't too expensive.

We went as a group and shared a great selection of 5 starters, sea bass, pork and a selection of desserts. The food was well cooked and a variety of flavours. There was more food than we could manage and all drinks were included. Excellent value.

Went in at lunchtime and it was rather quiet however the decor of the restaurant was very pleasent and our waiter very attentive the dishes were all fairly simple but nonetheless well executed and we both felt it was excellent value. Three beers and six tapas, which was more than enough, came to sixteen euros

One rainy February afternoon following the horse show at the Real Escuela we were sad to find El Gallo Azul closed. Luckily, we wandered into this cafe instead. Thanks to outdoor heaters and awnings we were able to enjoy the outdoors. The menu had interesting salads, interesting combinations, with local ingredients. The portions were generous and the ingredients fresh. Local... More

We had a wonderful selection of tapas here with all our family, young & old. The Salmorejo was , in particular , absolutely delicious. The waiter was serving many tables at the same time but could have been a little more friendly and helpful. Recommended for the food & modern style.
