Great tapas in a cool bar

This had been recommended. Got there at around 9, so quiet. One half restaurant, the other a bar with stools around high tables. I ordered my first gin and tonic of the holiday and some deep fried megrim. Both very good (and generous).

Not being Spanish, we ate a little early, 8.30-9pm starting, and nearly did not enter because there were so few people inside. Do NOT be put off! Raquel, our server, was wonderfully helpful with both the menu and in selecting a great Cádiz wine, reasonably priced. George had Torpedo King prawns as a tapa starter, sensational! Being Irish, he is... More

We visited Restaurante Reinodeleon in september. We were not very impressed as they had taken away lots of dishes we loved in our former visits. But this time, oh la la! The menu was completed with lots of wonderful new and old dishes! Also in the list of desserts. We had a fantastic meal in this warm and pretty decorated... More

For a little more sophisticated food in Jerez don't go further than this stylish restaurant. The restaurant inside is well designed and spacious. Waiters were attentive. And the food we had was superb. Special recommendation for the Picanha de Novillo - Argentinian grilled steak with spicy Gaucho sauce and chips.

We dine there. Food was great, sea bass stuffed with sea fruits absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and helpfull. The dessert though was dissapointing. I had the chocolate mousse but was no good at all. That is why I can only give 4*. The fish and the veal were great. I definetly reccomend it.

We had a meal on a saturday night. The waiters are friendly and we had a nice table. We've been here a couple of times over the years. We noticed that several dishes that we liked been taken away from the menu, for example the torpedo of gambas and lubina in champagne sauce. The postres are reduced to a poor... More

The place was nice looking, comfortable and clean and easy to get to. The food titles on the menu sound good, but in the end the flavors are just not there and the food is pretty bland. We spent quite a bit of money on a small amount of food and in the end we went to another restaurant a... More

My wife chose the restaurant as we strolled around Jerez , based on an interesting menu. The food was excellent throughout. Main courses of duck in a honey sauce and a beef cheek stew were both beautifully cooked. We had a very little light cheesecake and an even lighter mousse to finish. The wine list was a good selection of... More

Excellent restaurant. We did not expect a restaurant like this in Jerez. Their Salmorejo is really deliciuos and the staff is nice and friendly. Elegant atmosphere. Quality-price relationship outstanding!!

We are outside on a warm midweek evening on the restaurant's atmospheric terrace in a narrow alleyway off the main square. The service was very professional and attentive, and we enjoyed some expertly presented local dishes with modern twists. The cubed oxtail was a particular treat! The wine list was excellent and we enjoyed a Spanish gewürztraminer washed down with... More
