Good place for local specialties

Bit empty when I was here but friendly service in a nice atmosphere. If you're not too sure what to chose, ask them to prepare a selection of specialties to share. There is also a nice selection of wines.

We popped in on a busy day but managed to grab one of the two outside tables in the narrow sloping alley (people came outside to smoke). It took a while to get served but food was brought with reasonable alacrity. Wine was brought immediately but the water not until near the end. Also disconcerted that when the waitress cleared... The restaurant is up a tiny alley just at the edge of the old city. We had walked the old City but couldn't see a restaurant that appealed to us. The large places on plaza Mayer didn't do it for us. We don't speak Spanish and the waiter spoke no English but he was very tolerant. We ordered a couple... More

The restaurant had decent food but nothing that was note worthy. We were the only people having dinner. Everyone else was at the bar. The waiter was very good.
