Driving through Foligno earlier in the week, I saw this new sign “Mangiafuoco” in front of a building on Via IV Novembre. I liked the looks of the restaurant, and I also liked the name, which means eat fire in English. It turned out to be a quite pleasant dining experience. They had only... read more

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Date: July 13, 2014, @ 07:30 pm No reservations required. I attached pictures of the meals. Food was excellent. The staff suggested a wine from the Montefalco area for our meal.... an excellent red wine, which both me and my fiancé enjoyed. The service was excellent. I've read on previous reviews that service was not good, and that the food... More

We were recommended Ristorante Mangiafuoco by our hotel Villa dei Plantani. All I can say is 'thank you'!! This was without a doubt the best dinner I had over 5 weeks travelling Italy. The ristorante has a modern atmosphere and is reasonably priced. The staff were also very helpful. Thanks Ristorante Mangiafuoco for a great night:-)

We are still salivating over the meals we had in Foligno, a lovely Umbrian town, off the beaten tourist path, which is regular hub for those in the aero industry. We chanced upon it, as an easy compromise to a visit to Umbria and were totally impressed by the cuisine. Mangiafuoco was recommended by our concierge as one of the... More

I stayed with my fiancè and another couple, old friends of mine, in Mangiafuoco restaurant for my birthday in febraury. The place is so elegant that when we entered we thought "Oh God! I'm afraid of the bill!" but we didn't spent too much. We all took different dishes and we found them all good, ewpecially crepes with truffle, tomatoes... More
