I dined at the Alte Friesenstube with my parents. A very charming old building and a really lovely cosy ambience inside. We were greeted by rushed staff and that did not change during the meal. We were brought there by some friends and the restaurant was also highly recommended by a member of our son in-law's family : a great meal ! Fish aplenty; beautiful traditional decor alone is worth the visit. Dunner served in two shifts: either 6 or 8.30pm. Make sure you reserve, as it gets packed, and take along plenty of spare time, since service is extremely slow. We waited almost an hour between starters and mains!

Lovely thatched house with cosy interior, candles,white table cloth and sterling cutlery.
