We have spent many wonderful times in france and specifically Le Touquet but this cafe really was a bad experience. We decided to eat here for lunch mainly based on what we saw several people eating. When we sat and asked to order what we had seen others eating we were told not possible because it was 'private' realised later... More

Sir, your comment is completely false and unjustified. We welcome English customers every day and we are very happy to serve them. It is unacceptable to write this kind of criticism on our establishment does not reflect reality! It makes you wonder if you actually have lunch with us or if you are not mistaken restaurant?!?! A cheap lunch in Le Touquet is not really possible, but we thought this place at least offered value. The Crepes were well made, with generous fillings and the service was quick. The ambiance was pleasant, and the interior, although a little cramped, was pleasant.

Was looking forward to a galette au sarrazin ( buckwheat)..turned out it had wheat in it...so no choice but take a salad... tasteless..the worst was they'd lost our order and it took several reminders to eventually...1 hour later... get served...if you have another choice...go for it :-)

We had a really yummy lunch here. Really enjoyed the food, had the best cheese on toast I've ever had. The Crepe Suzette is really worth a try! The young waiter was great!

Stopped here for a late breakfast of waffles and coffee. The chocolate sauce was exquisite. Good spot to watch the world going to and from the market on a Saturday morning, and the queues in the fresh produce shops.

For the last couple of years when we have visited Le Touquet we have lunched here after visiting the market, and we both order the Croque Madame. This week we excitedly ordered our meal, but were so disappointed when all we received was a dry toasted cheese sandwich with a fried egg on top. The restaurant must have been taken... More

We stepped into this place by chance and luckily we did! Only French people inside, good sign of proper French food, and lovely food. I had a fois gras and figs tartine and a local beer, la touquettoise, and I was very satisfied. Good place for lunch!

We popped in for a brunch and chose two croque monsieurs, large fries a coffee and diet coke. Twenty minutes later we were served two burnt cheese and ham toasted sandwiches with green salad garni swimming in vinegar. Not bad for 26 quid????? No wonder the place was empty.

We were just passing by and liked the look of this place and as there were 7 of us the only seating available was inside which was air conditioned and heavenly on such a hot day. Lovely, smiling staff who dealt well with our awful attempts at French. The food was very good indeed and the portions more than sufficient.... More
