Very Good

By day, Les Canailles is a Cave (wine shop to us Brits), but in the evening, it opens out to be a small restaurant. The long room is obviously full of racks of wine which add to the look and atmosphere. Its not that big a place and the best table is either right in the front window or just... read more

Lovely little restaurant/wine shop with great ambiance. The menu is very small, only 5 or 6 daily specials made from local seasonal produce, quality over quantity which is always a good thing. The food itself was amazing; good sized portions, top quality & absolutely delicious! The staff were polite & attentive & the service efficient.

Visited Le Touquet on a day trip. Used tripadvisor to select this restaurant for lunch and we were not disappointed. No reservation but the staff did have a free table and were super friendly. Short menu on blackboard but we settled on the Pate du Patron, which was ham based and so delicious, and the sea bream (Dorade) on bed... More

We arrived at this restaurant at 7pm and were allowed to sit and choose our meal despite the kitchen not being open until 7:30pm. The chap that served us knew his wine and knew his food and made us extremely welcome. The food was prepared perfectly and tasted out of this world. The chef has to be one of the... More

This is a restaurant set in a wine shop, bins of wine surround the diners and the restaurant is small and intimate. Limited menu of freshly prepared well presented and tasty meals. Perhaps three starters, three mains and three deserts. Between myself and my friends we tried most of what was available, there was very little left, a good indication.... More

This weekend I went back to Les Canailles for the second time during a trip to Le Touquet and once again, I loved it. The menu is limited (three starters, three mains and three desserts is all you get to choose from) but the selection changes almost daily, taking the seasonalities of the produce into account. On our first visit,... More

We went on a cold night in February. The whole town was quiet. The restaurant was inviting with friendly staff. Since it's also a wine shop I had them help me pick out the perfect wine for our taste and budget. Could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Where to have our lunch was the question? Having checked out a few likely candidates in advance we settled on Les Canailles. Midweek lunch. Warm friendly welcome. Charming place. Small and full of character. Limited luncheon menu but enough for us. 2 starters, mains and desserts. Quality food, great service & reasonable prices.133 Euros. 4 of us. 2 course each... More
