Nice place for a romantic dinner

We had a great lunch there, typically French atmosphere. Maybe a little bit expensive and the staff could smile more and be a little bit more informative. The food is great, they should ne proud to talk about it and explain it a bit better. I had a very good lobster. In my opinion not the best... read more

Really disappointing experience, we were served frozen seafood (and the restaurant is 2 steps from the beach!!). We were a group of 8 and NONE of us had fresh fish. We could have understood if it was on a Monday, but it was Saturday night! The service was rude and quite unpolite Prices extremely high for what we had (we... More

Côte Sud offers a tasty and reasonable €35 three course menu at the weekend. I had very fresh oysters followed by the most delicious brochette de Lottes served with a sea risotto. You can tell that the chef is passionate about his cooking because the sauce of my main course was simply a perfect accompaniment for the fish and the... More

Cote Sud was fabulous . Definitely the best food we had in Le Touquet . It is small restaurant very tastefully decorated and had a very cosy feel. Lovely table linen and paintings and photos on the walls . The food was exceptional and beautifully presented . the crab speciality starter was amazing and we then had the fish of... More

Had so looked forward to returning to this restaurant but perhaps with everything you look forward to you are disappointed - got to the restaurant half an hour early and were sent away and told to return later. Asked if we could sit outside as thats one of the wonderful advantages of this restaurant - however we were told that... More

First stop in France in Le Touquet and fantastic experience. This is a true non-tourist gastronomic experience. The cuisine is excellent and creative with surprising flavours and the presentation is gorgeous. The service is perfect and waiters are very nice. Merci beaucoup pour centre superbe soirée de début Août.

Family of three, we happily stumbled on this restaurant after a long drive, and being hungry went into the first place we saw...very fortuitous. It's very French...think we were propably the only tourists in. Although we can manage happily in French, the lady who spoke English was more than happy to help translate when we needed it...with such an authentic... More

An authentic French bistro serving good quality French food, ( mainly seafood)on the seafront at reasonable prices ( 3 courses and a bottle of wine 130 euros ( and we picked "expensive" wine at 40 euros) , lovely atmosphere and great service, recommend it's worth the 5 - 10 minute walk from the main high street to find this place,... For our final meal in Le Touquet, we chose this restaurant. It was only our second visit, the previous one being a couple of years ago, but it did not disappoint. The food is fantastic, in a beautiful setting, on the sea front. The staff are attentive and helpful. If you want something that's a cut above the average, then... More

We have just spent a few days of R&R in Northern France, and in spite of the gales and rain, we had a brilliant time, notably the best meal of our trip....at Cote Sud. Everything was beautifully created, the wines were excellent and excellent value. Even the bill was not very painful. What a joy. Cannot recommend too highly
