This was such a find after 3 nights being rushed in and out of other restaurants.3 of us dined in this gorgeous cosy restaurant and everything we tasted was delicious. Do not be fooled by exterior. The prawns, steak, turkey was all beautifully cooked and the waitress couldn't do enough to help. Reasonable priced compared to others locally, For 2... More

Great little quirky restaurant in Le Touquet. In a side street off the main drags, but a real fine which we've visited on a few occasions. Booking would seem to be essential as the restaurant fills up quickly. Good choice of food from a range of differently priced menus. Quality/portions very good. Usual frantic French style - busy, busy, busy... More

Unglamorous outside for sure but step inside and you'll be transported to 1930's France...the menus are v reasonable but even if you have the cheapest, the food quality will certainly not disappoint...we had the €29 (top) 4 course menu and it was a delight to say the least...absolutely one of the best meals we've ever had in le touquet...can't believe... This is a lovely, small restaurant with very personal service from the patron. There were eight of us booked for dinner (aged 40 - 60+) and all enjoyed the homely cooking, reasonably priced wines and the excellent ambience. There were just two locals dining there at the same time as us, who were very accepting of our slightly boisterous conversations.... More

We would not have gone into the restaurant if it had not been for the previous reviews , the outside and interior decor are shabby to say the least, but the food was lovely and at €20 for a 3 course meal great value for money we had skate and a steak for our mains both were fresh and cooked... This Restaurant is in the Centre of Le Touquet and offers reasonably priced Fixed Price Menus. However the quality of the cooking needs to be improved. Also the Owner never seems to have any Waiting Staff and consequently is always rushed. Hopefully things will improve here.

Having been to Le Touquet many times for a girls weekend away, we made a reservation and returned to Le Coq on our first night. When we arrived it was clear a large group was expected and we were in a corner next to a table for 12. We placed our order and enjoyed a beer whist reminiscing how the... More

friendly service, good food & great value. What more can you say? Oh yes - home made chips. None of those frozen stringy fries! Recommend definitely

Cold and wet in Le Touquet, but warm and welcoming in Coq Hardi. Nice compact atmosphere, almost full, but excellent service from lone waiter (owner ?) 15Euro set menu had good choice, ample food and good quality. To be recommended.

During a short January golfing break in Le Touquet, we were initially disappointed when the restaurants we had researched in advance were mostly closed for a winter break. Very fortunately for us we passed Le Coq Hardi, it was open and we ate there. It was terrific! We both had the 20 euro dinner; deep fried squid and moules to... More
