A Rare Gem

Behind the unprepossessing frontage lies a very modern/chic and colourful setting. The service was welcoming and cheerful, quite charming in fact. We chose to share a starter of fois gras between us. we ate here Saturday evening 7.00pm 12th October, we had spotted it on previous visits, once it had a fully booked notice in the window ( good sign !!) and we were a bit wary as it's slightly away from the main area in Le Touquet We should not have worried, exceptional meal, chef Bigot clearly is a master of... We had lunch there on a Saturday. When we walked in, we both had the "plat du jour" on our mind, which was advertised outside (gigot d'agneau) When we sat down and were given the menu, we noticed that the plat du jour is only available Monday to Friday...When the waiter came to take our order, I asked if we... Pleasant enough place for a lunch. The waiter (in my eyes the owner) only smiled when somebody paid their bills. Polite enough but still, a smile when serving would not go unnoticed and un-appreciated. Food was really nice, but the plates were dirty, covered with greasy fingerprints, tried to wipe some off with my napkind but they were too deep.... More

I eat out in this part of France every five or six weeks. Tried this restaurant for the first time a week ago and it was absolutely first class. Two menus on offer at lunchtime, one at 25Eu, which did not appeal to us and one at 40Eu, which we chose. A delectable extra of a small bowl of just... More

We ate at Le 91 on the off chance because Le Paris was closed for holidays and it was a lucky find. The €25 menu was excellent value. A mushroom soup served with crisp, thin belotta ham was excellent but a bit heavy on the cream, the hare terrine had excellent taste and texture and was not greasy. A main... More

The unassuming entrance belies the quality which awaits you inside. Fabulous food beautifully presented at very reasonable prices. We went on a midweek evening in September and the restaurant was packed with visitors and locals alike. Highly recommended.

The postives first - the food was good and the overall ambiance was welcoming and cool inside away from the heat. Good range of value for money choices and the drinks were also reasonably priced, in fact it was all shapoing up to be a good lunch-time meal until it all started to go wrong. I ordered lieu jaune (fish... More

I visited the restaurant, after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor, with my parents and my nine month old baby. Children obviously weren't welcome as there were no high chairs. I appreciate that many people do not wish to dine with children but seeing as Le Touquet is a seaside holiday destination and we booked a table for 7... More
