Decent fare; exceptional service

As uncouth as it is to go to France and eat in an American restaurant, my partner and I fancied something different to French cuisine after a week of eating almost nothing but. We wanted a late lunch and found this restaurant which seemed suitable, however, we waited to check if they could accommodate us and were still serving food and were totally ignored. Several of the waiting staff saw us, made eye contact so knew we were waiting, but that was it, no member of staff came to see us. We waited... More

Only just been to this place, €25 euro burger for me and thoroughly in impressed. Was served tepid, had clearly been left out for sometime as I couldn't even register heat when I stuck my finger in it after realising it was far from hot. The other two burgers ordered in my group were exactly the same. Quality of it... More

Very nice meal but wasn't amazed by the quality of the steak. Very good tomato and mozzarella salad and lovely service.

We had a lovely meal here. Our party each had very different tastes but the restaurant catered to us all and we ordered American burgers and French delicacies. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. She advised us on our choice of wine and chose the perfect accompaniment without breaking the bank!

We went here just for drinks and a cheese platter. The platter of cheese was good and priced well. The rose wine was also of good quality

We found this restaurant on our second visit to le Touquet. Extensive menu of English, American and French food. Friendly service and really nice food. My partner had a very nice steak and I had pan fried chicken with ginger and veg it is quite difficult to find chicken dishes around here and this was really lovely. We were too... More

We visited on 8th July and had a fabulous meal! I had the fisherman which was a huge salad topped with croutons, smoked salmon, crevettes and salmon roe, very fresh and generous portion! My husband enjoyed a crab and crevette salad which was meant to be a starter but was ample for a light meal! We had jeans special platter... More

Moules frites is everywhere in Le torquey and Joan's cafe is no exception. Saying that it is one of our favourites and well presented, nicely cooked and a reasonable price. We were very satisfied with the evening meal, but equally returned a few mornings later for a mid morning cafe & look at the paper (Liberation)

i had pre booked our set meal of main, dessert, drink, and tea/coffee. We were expected when we arrived and greeted by the very friendly staff, our drinks order was taken and within a short space of time our food arrived. It was well presented and very tasty. The staff were attentive and very helpful, especially when one of our... More
