Description: This bustling café in the centre of Le Touquet is part New York diner, and part Parisian bistro. With a brasserie-style ambience and stateside memorabilia on the walls, Le Jean's Café is a fun place to visit whether you're looking for a nice place for lunch, a mid-afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed place for dinner with something on the menu for everyone. The menu features American -style pizzas and pasta alongside traditional French fare, and you can chow down on anything from garlic snails to sticky barbecued spare ribs. We love the steak served with Bearnaise sauce, provençal herbs and fries, and Jean's signature pizza made with ham, mushrooms, mixed herbs, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese.

Food just Ok, nothing special and a waitress with a face like a smacked bottom! There are so many better places to eat in Le Touquet, we felt we had wasted an evening.

Amazing food and service on three occassions. Cannot understand the other reviews that are critical of this restaurant as the food at this restaurant is all homemade and the deserts are extremely special. We are not usually a family that return to a resturant but the food was so good we returned 3 times and enjoyed everything we tried on... More

What a shame, we have been coming here for years so decided to head for a safe bet for something to eat and drink. Ordered 4 starters, Chicken wings (dry) Smoked salmon not too bad, fish cakes (bland fried things) fried goats cheese salad (disgusting) 4 beer's to rinse away the said items, 100€. Absolutely wasted money on this detritus.... More

Visited this restaurant many times before but this time it was all wrong. No atmosphere, poor quality bland stale food, expensive and generally bad all round.very dissapointed and when I mentioned something I got the lifted shoulder senario. Didn't care.

They managed to squeeze 8 of us in at the last minute. Whilst some of us weren't keen of the TV screens, (the sport being shown quite distracted some of the male members of the group!!) this should not detract from the quality of the food. My fish was the best I have had this year and everyone else really... More

Really busy bustling bar, it was packed but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleared and be seated, the choice wasn't huge but that wasn't a problem, the drinks and food arrived in great time, the food was packed with flavour and great portion sizes, all the staff were attentive and helpful (our... American style bar, comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We were 4 adults and 7 kids, and were made to feel welcome. The food was good, fine for the price, USA sized portions. Service needed some prodding along but it was fine.

This is a fantastic Bar/Restaurant in the Centre of Town. We have only used the Bar so far which has a very good selection of Beers. However we intend to try the Burgers next time. There really is a Harley in the Bar.

This is a busy bar/restaurant in the centre of Le Touquet. Very informal with an 'international' menu (includes burgers and pizza) in addition to some French favourites (steak frites). Great atmosphere; good service; reasonable price. Worth a visit.

We booked a table of 16 for a Friday night and the restaurant was far from full. Therefore we would have expected them to be prepared to look after us properly. However we sat waiting for a drink for at least a minimum 45 mins and it was at least another 30 mins before we had any bread on the... More
