This bustling café in the centre of Le Touquet is part New York diner, and part Parisian bistro. With a brasserie-style ambience and stateside memorabilia on the walls, Le Jean's Café is a fun place to visit whether you're looking for a nice place for lunch, a mid-afternoon glass of wine, or a relaxed place for dinner with something on the menu for everyone. The menu features American -style pizzas and pasta alongside traditional French fare, and you can chow down on anything from garlic snails to sticky barbecued spare ribs. We love the steak served with Bearnaise sauce, provençal herbs and fries, and Jean's signature pizza made with ham, mushrooms, mixed herbs, Gorgonzola and mozzarella cheese.

Was persuaded by reading reviews to eat here as, from the outside, this looks like a perfectly fine bar but not necessarily somewhere for dinner. Wrong! We went as a family of four - children's food really was very good and well cooked (not McDonald's in disguise), veggie husband had a seriously good pizza and I had a seafood salad... More

Called in here for a spot of lunch before driving further South. Something of a sport's bar, which didn't impress my wife, but the food (fish soup, moules & frites) and very good indeed. Service was very friendly and very efficient.

We ate at Le Jeans, on a trip to Le Touquet last year. It is a very short distance from The Red Fox hotel, where we stayed. The staff are quick to sit you down, and serve you, and help with any quierie about the menu. The surroundings are nice and clean, and covered in sports photos and memorabillia, plus,... More

Annual trip to Le Touquet usually involves a trip to Jean's in the afternoon for a bite to eat at lunch. We are always well looked after and the food never lets us down. From the soup right through to the mussels our party of 5 were very impressed...we nearly stayed for dinner as well!

We visited here as a couple, mid week in October and everywhere seemed pretty quiet except here, and now I know why. The food was very good, the portions huge and the service we got from the young waiter was excellent. It was reasonably priced for what we had as well - I would highly recommend it and shall definitely... More

Food was of a very high standard and service was good. Drinks a little pricey but overall a good place to eat.

Family of 5 ate well and, although the wine was quite a price, the food was well priced. Staff went out of way to look after us - they seemed pleasantly surprised that we wanted to eat as well as drink! The setting is nice on a major pedestrian junction so lots to see happening around you.

Visited here at lunchtime with another couple whilst shopping. Food and service was very good. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. The mussels are highly recommended but they could easily be shared as they come up in a large pan, enough for at least 2 people!

It under promised and over delivered. The staff the very attentive and they paid attention ie I was on beer, my wife was on wine (a bottle!) but they still provided us with two wine glasses and glasses of water without asking. The raw trout starter - sounds awful but it was devine. Also do a a main course, but... More
