Pretentious

We found the whole experience a bit strange. The food was good, but not as good as they obviously think it is? Half the group had the Lobster and the other half went for the steak, both decent, but not worth the price they charge. In their defence, we had eaten at the Swisse cottage just down the... read more

Lovely food, we had rack of lamb and it came with a small selection of starters and appetisers. We were conscious of the steep prices and so were very conservative with our ordering, I would recommend keeping a close eye on the cost unless you want to be doing the dishes! We had just mains and one drink each and... More

We first visited this restaurant 5 years ago when we took our neighbours for a day trip to France and had lunch in Flavio to celebrate a special birthday. This year we have stayed in Le Touquet with my husband's sister and husband on two occasions in August and end November and had lunch in Flavio on the first trip... More

We visited this restaurant in October, on a Saturday evening. It certainly has a faded glory but appears dated. The food was very good & the service was good but the whole thing was over the top in other ways. The tables were full of excess glasses, silver ornaments etc. we ordered a bottle of water & a half bottle... More

Booked a table for 4 tonight, decor is very old fashioned and has an air of stuffiness, the sort of people who judge you by your first appearance ( if only they knew ) !!! Meal was on the side of good to excellent , and overal staff were good , but need to lighten up a little , I... More

Myself and girlfriend booked a table here at the last minute as couldn't get a booking anywhere else close by. We were not disappointed the food and the wine was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the fillet steak for main and this was by far the best steak I have ever had! The waiters were very friendly and humorous. Top class... More

It's an amazing old fashioned restaurant , the Frenchs call it an institution . Sounds that nothing has change since the 50's. Same decor with clothed tables, crystal chandeliers, small old lamps, and paintings. Same food with its famous blue Roscoff lobsters and fishes of the day . And Maybe same staff ;) the food is good and the service... More

Had dinner here just a couple of nights ago for my birthday and really loved it. Very interesting and palatial décor resulting in quite a romantic atmosphere; really lovely food beautifully served; excellent service - they teased us a bit because we were British by bringing us some brown sauce and a tin of baked beans which was all in... Delightful and delicious restaurant in Le Touquet. The shortish menu captures local specialities with exceptional quality. The scallops and turbot in their various forms are particularly good. The decoration of the restaurant is classic. Wine is well chosen. Service is polite and attentive, supporting the smart but relaxed ambience. More jacket than t-shirt! Expensive, but good value. We always enjoy... More
