Description: Le Ricochet restaurant in Le Touquet is hot and why not? The owners are passionate about food and art so Le Ricochet is a sparky combination of the two. The dining room is vibrant with scarlet walls, winning-flag chequered banquettes, designer lighting, and a changing array of original artworks on the walls. The menu is a changing work of art, too, with superfresh Asian-inspired modern European dishes that includes sushi, kangaroo steaks and other surprises supported by seriously accomplished caramelised lamb tagine, Ricochet-style seabass, veal ossobucco with confit oranges and spinach tagliatelle. The chef is passionate about wine, too, so the carte reflects deep research and an adventurous spirit. The ambience is young and bubbling.

Visited Ricochet with my daughter, who is vegetarian, having called in the previous day to see what options were available (her choice in France usually is omelettes, pizza or an odd meat free pasta dish). The restaurant changed hands in the summer of 2012 and is now owned by partners, one of whom is Sebastien who worked for many many... More

Arrived on spec Monday evening as the other two restaurants we fancied were both closed. Warm welcome from English speaking Sebastian which was particularly helpful for us. Menu interesting. Strong emphasis on fish. The pigeon I had for the main was excellent and the poached pear was also very good. The rest of our food was good but missed the... More

Having been to Ricochet in the past we were looking forward to a good meal. At the time we were not aware that there had been a change of ownership. When we arrived the waiter/owner said we were a little early and suggested we went for a drink and returned later. This we did, we would have been happy to... More

The Ricochet serves extraordinary food in a rue with many average restaurants. High quality food, well portioned and superb in taste. I never had 3 courses that all made soo much sence. Try it! You won't be dissapointed.

20 Golfers from London Uk, booked an evening at La Ricochet for our first night's meal of a 4 day stay. Each to a man, thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food provided from a special 20 persons menu. I had delicious Scallops followed by loin of Pork and finished off with a home made Apple tart and Ice cream. Others had... More

We only had one nice course : raviolis with truffles. The rest was basic, my parner had a "fusion" fish dish which was neither French nor Asian and tasted of rancid oil. I came out hungry and had to buy something else as the choice for vegetarians and fish eaters is very limited.

Ricochet is a family run restaurant. It is the first restaurant in Le Touquet to offer sushi and although the chef is French there is a Far Eastern influence on some of the dishes. The food is imaginative and tasty with a constantly changing menu presented to the diners on blackboards. The atmosphere is lively and relaxed and the clientel... More
