Is it me or has anyone else noticed France is going down the fast food route, pronto. Happy to say that, curried moules aside, Perard is the valiant upholder of the traditional French love of food. This is a seafood restaurant attached to a seafood retailer. Book a table, take your time, and observe the French indulging in what they... More

This fish restaurant has always served a consistent and impressive dish - for the first time we sat outside for lunch - probably my mistake for visiting mostly later in the year - this time in the Summer sun we perched ourselves on the stalls and enjoyed the splendid fish ( the turbot and the monkfish both scored highly..)... all... Been a good few years since I had eaten here - seems to still be as popular as ever. Main restaurant was packed for a lunch and then there is also a bar counter in the shop area that seemed equally as popular. The fish platters are awesome in their presentation and the set priced menu was also pretty good... More

We were served quickly, almost too quickly. This is a big restaurant and it felt a bit like we were on a production line at times. Seafood platter was good, fish okay. Friendly maitre d' who was accommodating to our unadventurous kids' requests for plain pasta. Not as excited by this as other reviewers had indicated- we've had much nicer... More

This restaurant has everything. Location, the staff are fantastic and professional without being snooty. We had the Bouliabasse which was huge and we didn't quite finish it. We were given a free starter of prawns. Despite not having a reservation we were seated quickly - within 2 minutes. The interior is full of character and cartoons on the walls. Make... More

We were walking though the town of Le Touquet and came upon this restaurant. It was 6:50 and didn't open til 7pm, but we were looking at fish market next door and thought it might be worth trying even though the prices were a little expensive. They let us in about 6:55 so we were the first customers. But soon... More

in Le Touquet for a short one day break. Arrived late but made it in time for lunch (no booking), so we thought. They close the restaurant at 2pm but the shellfish bar remains open all day! So hopped up on a couple of bar stools, ordered some chilled muscadet and tucked into the most GInormous plat de fruit de... More

Just used the oyster bar. But the constellation and atmosphere to taste fresh oysters with a good glass of champagne in this area is an excellent stop after a long walk.
