You need to try cheesecake as well as Marskinmalja. The athmosphere is the thing there. Old building with old furnirure and decoration. Visit and see.

The atmosphere in that place in combination with the home made pies and cases makes this place very very special! If you visiting Lappeenranta just don't miss it!

This cafe has served the turists and locals for just about 30 years. In Finland thats a long age for any restaurant and when you enter the few steps inside you can understand why the popularity still goes on. Cakes are delicious and coffee fresh and the old furniture gives a nice comfty add. Well worth a visit even if... More

After a long hot walk through the stalls of the international market along the side of the lake, and to visit the large collection of heroes sandcastles - more art installations than sand castles really - we climbed up through the cobbled lane looking for this coffee shop. And what a treat. Housed in an old timber building, crammed full... More

The Marjuska is definitely a most wonderful place to enjoy coffee, tea, freshly backed cakes - there is always a wide variety of, all homemade - or light snacks. It's the ideal place for a year round visit. During summer time, seating in the garden under large timber trees is available. For the cold winter period or in case of... More

We've visited this cafe many times over the years for obvious reasons: excellent tee and coffee, tasty pastries and cakes, beautiful & historical furniture and house. All of this in the old fortress area. I recommend :)

Location in a old wooden house. They have variety of salty and sweet products. Have to go there at least twice a year. Christmas season is my favourite.
