We were in Finland visiting our Son and Daughter in law in Lappeenranta. We were told we needed to go to this place. The restaurant has an elegant but cozy feel to it. The food is excellent. I had my doubts as I am not a lamb eater as it is some times strong. But not here. They bake the... More

We drove over 400 km round trip just to eat here. Actually I am sitting waiting for my fifth portion of lamb. Served only with potatoes and lamb fat dripping everywhere it is meat heaven. Huge woodfired oven. Shame it does fruit for pudding but even heaven has to have faults. Now where's my next plateful?

With the lamb you get potatoes, bread and for the dessert sweet raisin soup. For drink you can have water or home made (non alcoholic) beer. Wines cost extra. You... More
