We came four people to the restaurant just ten minutes before the citchen was to be closed this evening, and we got realy good service and a wonderfull meal.

Jensens Böfhus is a danish up-scale McDonalds with steaks instead of burgers. It's absolutely not the worst of places and the service most often is prompt and accurate. The steaks however are just on the average. But at least they don't cost too much.

To start on the positives - the help-yourself salad bar was quite good and there was little they could do with the soft drinks. Ordered a standard beef steak with house sauce and a baked tomato. The steak was very small (I would say 200g or less), tasteless and almost cold. This is a total rip off. You have to drown the cardboard meat in sauce to get some flavour. The side dishes were obviously mass produced. This could have been any American chain restaurant that you visit when everything else is closed.

Jensens is a chain, and this one is no better or worse than the others. Its just as average. I felt ripped off when I ate here, paying 25 euro for a steak and chips, when the steak it just standard "supermarket" fayre devoid of any real flavour is just not on.
