Paid a visit on the recommendation of friends, and was not disappointed. Superb choice of Thai menu, perfectly cooked and presented, great service, and a very pleasant setting. Will definitely be going back!

Since present owners taken over the pub has gone from strength to strength. Good food reasonably priced

Rubbish food and service. Completely overrated. Avoid and go to the Bull at Arborfield instead. Really bad reception. My daughters drink was placed on the edge of the table by the waitress which subsequently spilt. They charged us for it '

Have lived in the area for 10yrs and tried the Bull once when I first moved for a Sunday Roast but was told too late so never went back. Heard from friends recently that they ran a Thai menu so thought we would give it another crack. We ate early on a Tuesday night 18:30 and it was empty. Friendly... More

The menu is a curious mix of gastropub and Thai and that makes it feel a little confused. On arrival, we were presented with a normal bound menu and a loose page of specials. On reflection, there was a enough selection on both types of menu, altough neither would be as extensive as a trad Thai/gastropub. Most of my party... More

Took lunch here with my family. Excellent food and certainly value for money. Ample portions. Very helpful and freindly staff. Two youngsters in our party very happy with the kids fare. No problems at all - and can recommend.

Went here recently with my wife. The menu is mostly Thai inspired although there are classic pub favourites. I started with whitebait, which were ok (not sure if the guts were removed). My wife had the dumplings, she said they were tasty. She had the pork belly for main and found the sweet and sour vegetables to be a bit... More

Very much a pub in terms of atmosphere and decor but service and above-average food make this more of a restaurant experience. We sampled both Thia and more traditional disses between us - both very good, the thai dishes well spiced and nicely presented, steak cooked exactly as required and lovely chips! Required gluten-free and the waitress able to advise... More

Great to see a local pub being run well and always busy. On a warm summers evening they were full for food and had no room for walk ups past 7pm. Great selection of beers including Timothy Taylor which you don’t often see in the south. Plenty of outside seating too. They do a great calamari starter and I enjoyed... More

The atmosphere, service and food is excellent. Four of us went for dinner last weekend. We were offered a very varied menu along with the specials board so there is something for everyone including Thai dishes. We had a starter for two between the four of us, hoping that would leave enough room for a dessert after the main course... More
