We recently had another lunch at Colours and have booked for Christmas. Without a doubt, the best restaurant in St.Helens. We have been going every so often since they opened. Never had a bad meal. Excellent food, plenty of it. Lovely, friendly staff and service. Simply the best !

Visited last night and boy it was such a great place to dine... Staff were warm, friendly and excellent at their jobs... The service is spot on, the atmosphere was spot on and the food also matched... We will without doubt be back and thanks for a great evening :)

Have just come home from meeting friends for lunch in colours. We had the express lunch menu, portions not very large but, absolutely delicious. Total bill was £38.90 for 3 of us, we each had a starter, and, a dessert, we also had a diet coke each, a glass of wine each, and, a coffee each, very good value indeed.... More

Visited as a birthday treat. Food was fantastic as usual, good service and lovely evening. They made a mistake with the main course and were quick to rectify so no complaint at all. Very enjoyable evening.

I'm a huge (in many senses of the word) fan of this place. My wife and I are regular daytime visitors and we've made it our business to take many friends over the years, but a couple of mediocre experiences recently find me wanting to warn people that all is not necessarily as wonderful as it once was in this... I booked a table for four and we were not disappointed. Service was good, food was good and the experience was also good. I spend a lot of time in London or abroad, and the place had a very first class feel about it, the waitresses have obviously been trained to a very high standard and the chefs know what... More

We have been many times to Colours in its old, and current, venue. As you would expect from a "training" facility the restaurant is very well laid out with modern decor and the staff are all very well turned out and polite. The food is superb and a little slice of fine dining at affordable prices is a refreshing change.... More

The staff are mostly students which is fair enough and it's enjoyable to help them learn by being good customers and helping them to relax into their roles. The food is good on the whole but my pork had a very oily coating indeed and a fellow diner's bruschetta was burned black, but still served up. However if the staff... More

Starters were quite small, but tasty. Both had steak for main - delicious! Waiting staff were very attentive. Overall, very good value for money and we both left feeling stuffed! Looking forward to going again!
